Fits well for swimming

I needed a form fitting rash guard for the pool that did not bind when I swam. This rash guard is the only one of many that actually works well for swimming. Need to buy a size that fits fairly snugly.

My husband's 5'11" and weighs about 200 (does triathlons) and the X-Large fit him perfectly, meaning it's VERY fitted with no "bagginess" anywhere. Rashguards are meant to be as form fitting as possible to prevent drag in the water and to preven chafing- if they are anything looser than very snug, they can create more problems with skin irritation than they help prevent. My husband mainly uses these for sun protection in the water, and they work great for that. The key to making a rashguard last is to take it off IMMEDIATELY after getting out of the water and rinsing it thoroughly (especially after using it in chlorinated water!)- if it dries stretched on your body, it will never "bounce back" to its original size and will be baggy from that point on. So if you are looking for "form fitting", get your normal FITTED t-shirt size, and if you want it to be comfortable and casual for sun protection while hanging out around the pool or on the beach, go at least a size or two up from your normal size.

This thing is great but be warned they run small

This thing is great but be warned they run small. I am 5'8" 160 and the X-Large was optimal. Any smaller would not work. The XL is actually snug on me (like it's supposed to be). I used this for boogie boarding and snorkeling in the Caribbean so I wouldn't get the crap burnt out of shoulders and it works well and dries fast. I also actually used it as a rash guard recently under my wetsuit and it worked well for that too. I'm told it looks good and makes me looks like I know what I'm doing so high marks there. Also note that it's cut for someone with an athletic build. If your using it for diving and surfing that's probably you. If you're out of shape and planning on wearing it floating around in a resort pool I would probably look elsewhere or you may look ridiculous. Great product!

The Skinny On The Fit

I'm 6-1, 187 lbs, chest 41, pants waist 34 and wear L shirts. Based on reviews and Customer Questions and Answers I sized up one to XL. This shirt is designed/cut to be form fitting and tight. Because of the stretch-ability of the fabric and how the shirt is designed, I think a large would have been OK; just depends how tight of a fit you are comfortable with. That said, my wife thinks the XL looks good (and she's the only one I'm trying to impress) so I'm going to keep it. In addition to this shirt, I also bought an O'Neill "Basic Skins L/S Rash Tee" size Large, UV Protection 50+, and it is a completely different shirt; it fits like a T-Shirt, it is not tight and Large is perfect. My plan is to use the tight fitting shirt in the water and the loose T-Shirt one for sun protection out of the water.

Bought two size up, and it’s still skin tight

This is a good quality top, but I’m not convinced there’s much difference between the different sizes. I’m a woman and can normally wear men’s size medium shirts that fit nicely in the chest and loosely in the waist. I read reviews saying that these are tight, and of course that’s how they’re meant to fit. However, I still wanted it to fit a little looser in the waist. So, I went two sizes up and bought an XL. It’s still very tight, with no give at all.

Excelente para el sol

La camiseta está excelente, te protege del sol cuando estás expuesto directamente por un tiempo prolongado. Respecto a las tallas, mido 1.90 y soy delgado me quedo muy bien la XL, la talla grande me hubiera quedado chica, la camiseta si está muy ajustada porque es de compresión pero es muy cómoda.

Muy útil para ir a la playa

Genial producto, sólo cabe mencionar que no es un wet suit es un rashguard, bastante cómodo para hacer snorkel o nadar mucho tiempo sin quemarte la espalda por el sol, pero no te ayuda a mantener la temperatura por si haces buceo

Buen artículo

Para mi gusto es un muy buen artículo, considero que es un poco incomodo el cuello, de ahí en fuera me parece perfecto, la protección solar parece que funciona bien y la compresión es buena.
