Great Product

Great mask; yes, it has a distinct smell. I assume this is due to the rubber valve; you get used to it, not a poison hazard as mentioned in other reviews. This mask fits tight and filters out the dust and dirt I work with and does not build up the heat when you exhale. I live and work in the hot Desert; this is a great mask.

Good quality rerspirator

This is a good quality respirator and is as comfortable as it gets with a disposable respirator while offering very good filtering action.

Good Quality Protection, however the mask size is very very small

Overall, very good protection being an N 95. The respirator also makes it very easy to stay fairly cool along with having good protection. However, they are a very small diameter and do not seem to cover all of my face where it needs to be. It seems to want to slip up and down based on its size being a little on the small side. I thought maybe it was just me but I had both my mom and my dad try them and they had the same issue. Do not know if I would order again. Maybe they make a larger version?

The plastic valve smells bad. 3M has the reputation for material science

Smell, smell, smell! The plastic valve smells bad. 3M has the reputation for material science, but why does the company make such masks with inappropriate materials? I opened one box and expose the mask in air and hope the smell will go away soon. But if the smell does not within the return period, I am going to return them, as I don't want to be poisoned! [Update in June 2019] The smell is gone after a few months in my closet. Now they are really good. Still recommend this product considering its pricing and the protection. Review rating updated.
