Good value for the price
Nice strap. Dial is well done. Very easy to read. Case is lightweight but feels cheap, which is expected at this price point. If you’re ok with an homage watch to the Seamaster 300, then this is a good watch for you.

Dissapointed!!!
Received a watch that didnt work. The hands were stuck in one position. At least the indiglo worked, so one star. Returned item.

Looks like a much more expensive watch
I really like this watch. Growing up in the 50s, my first watch was a drugstore Timex I got for Christmas. In recent years, Timex designers have come up with some interesting models. Some of the newer designs are retro revivals of older Timexes, and some, like this, resemble existing high-end watches. This one takes a lot of design cues from the Omega 1957 Railmaster Trilogy. In fact, the Timex dial and hands are almost identical to the Railmaster. Of course, the printing on the dial differs. The Timex case is 40mm diameter and 9.3 mm thick, vs 38mm and 13mm for the Omega. Timex adds rounded case sides, a vintage-look "onion" crown and jumps the lug size up to 20mm over 19mm for Omega. The black 20mm strap that comes with the watch appears to be, and feels like, Cordura or woven nylon with very thin leather lining. I have showered while wearing this strap and suspect the "leather" lining is either Lorica synthetic or treated leather. The strap gets soaking wet, but mostly dries within about 30 minutes. And the leather-like lining doesn't get slimy when wet, like real leather will. As you can imagine, the prices of the two watches aren't even in the same universe, because the Omega has an in-house Swiss multi-jewel co-axial automatic movement and the Timex has a basic Asian quartz. The Timex includes crown-activated Indiglo dial lighting AND luminous hands (but not markers !!). This Timex is easy-reading and easy-wearing, and I wish it had been available in our local corner drugstore in 1955, but it's here now, so, better later than never.
