Practice makes perfect

My first foray into the diaphragm call, so this rating is based solely on the merits of the product, not on any comparison to any other mouth calls. I found it to be relatively easy to learn how to make turkey-ish sounds. Now what the turkeys think of those sounds remains to be seen, but they sound good to me. I like the mouth call because it leaves both hands free, so to me it's worth the time and effort to learn how to use them versus a box or slate call. This one is relatively inexpensive, and seems to be well made. I recommend it.

The ink bleeds even after three uses leaving ink in mouth

I am a big fan of Primos gear been using it for years so I thought I would try these new turkey calls even after reading the reviews I didn’t think the ink would be too bad it leaves ink in your mouth and it taste like crap not sure if it’s safe for you or not? Be aware of the Ink bleed if you plan on buying?….

Great piece of equipment. May get ‘soggy’ after prolong period of time in mouth.

It worked well, required little practice. Good product HOWEVER, does tend to “soften up” while in the mouth for a prolonged period of time as you can imagine or soggy. May accumulate saliva and consequently become less effective. This may not be particular to Primos as it is my first call I used of this type so I can not compare. I used it for them turkeys. Good call

my favorite line

I love this primos line, I have used them all and the Orange and Green and blue have made the best sound in my book.

Good sound

Sounds just as good as a Woodheavn to me I broke this call out with a Woodheavn, and a couple others and blew them all and 4 people liked the sound of this call better than the rest of them hope the turkeys do to lol

I have always had trouble using mouth calls. This call was so easy to use even I made realistic yelps with it.

Nice raspy yelps

Nice raspy yelps. Can be worked loud or nice and low in close. Very easy to change speeds and get aggresive. This proved to be my go to call this spring.
