Too small to be functional
I really like Girotondo pattern from Alessi. I have wanted this for a long time, and finally ordered one on Amazon. However it was just too small to be functional. It can't hold napkins properly. (napkin will fold to one side as it's not tall enough) Too bad. I would have loved it if it were bigger and taller..

Perfect for my needs!
This is a lovely serviette holder however, it is fairly small and I think it would be better suited to bar style napkins rather than dinner sized ones. I would recommend checking the dimensions to ensure it will meet your needs. Large napkins may flop over. I am not actually using it for napkins as I wanted a space saving item to put Andrex style toilet wipes packets in for my bathroom. Although it is too small to completely disguised the packaging, they do fit perfectly and now can be stored on their side on a narrow ledge. Perfect for my needs...and the boy/girl design is also fitting for the bathroom!

Pass me a serviette !
Funk, stylish and a designer classic. Another wonderful piece of Alessi, this looks wonderful on any work top/kitchen table and is also a useful item. Encourage your guests to use serviettes (paper ones, saves on washing and ironing) looks really good when filled up with serviettes and then to use it to put a serviette down for a lovely cool summer drink or coffee just finishes the whole look of sophistication of when entertaining. The design of this item is also dateless and not really all that girlie/feminine so will appeal to any member of sex equally. Would look at home in a bachealor pad or glamour pus kitchen, or just your average run of the mill couples house. The stainless steel just makes you think of classic french or italian bistros, their tables always seem to have serviette holders on them, so have a little of the med. in your own home/garden (you know that you want to really) and the cost is a lot cheaper than a flight there. I suppose that if you don't want to use serviettes then you could use it as a letter holder, still a funky stylish item (would look trendy on a desk) but with another use, hey two pieces of Alessi for the price of one.

LOVE THIS SERVIETTE HOLDER, DOES THE JOB GREAT AND LOOKS CLASSY, HAD LOADS OF COMMENTS ABOUT IT ALL GOOD, you cant beat great design.

Was given one of these when I got engaged and i love it - bought as engagement present and very happy to still find it - just wish they did more in the boy/girl range
