Gottex Classic Black Surplice One-Piece - 16
Gottex One-Piece, Surplice, Black One-Piece 16 Really like the style, surplice. No embellishments - hardware, etc., hard to find a plain black swimsuit. Legs not too high cut. Fabric excellent quality. I like that I can adjust the straps. Looks fabulous on. The only negative is it will be too good just for swimming in the pool. I bought, at the start of the pandemic, a Gottex black button-down swimsuit cover up L, that looks like a sleeveless dress. It will pare well with the swimsuit. Will have to plan a trip to HNL. I have a Penbrooke one-piece 16 that fits perfectly, the fit is similar. For reference: 5'8" 176 lbs 40C

Pretty but uncomfotable
Well made, pretty design, but runs on the short side for a longer torso and the bow in the back from the cross-cross straps makes it uncomfortable to lean against the back of a chair (sunbathing etc).

An Expensive Mistake
The suit is beautiful (vibrant colors and flattering design) and good quality (as are most Gottex products). I bought a 6 which was too small overall…totally my fault because my other Gottex suits are an 8! The reason for the 2 stars is the seller experience. BE AWARE…this is not an Amazon Prime free return! The seller sent a return label and I took it to UPS and found it would be $34 to return it. When I contacted Bikini Paradise, they told me to take it to USPS. It cost $20 to return it from there because this store is in Canada. I would’ve exchanged it for the 8 but they didn’t offer to waive the return fee. I didn’t want to risk having to return again and be out of another $20. Lesson learned…check return policies carefully before buying!

Runs small good quality material
Runs very small across the back and chest. I usually wear an petite small or women’s small fir a shirt and a 4 bottom. I ordered an 8 and it strangels me across the back and under the arms. I will order in a larger size. Material is nice and suit it flattering

Great swimsuit
Loved the swimsuit ,fit was bang on the measurements.i am a size 14 and it fit exactly as it should.

Way too short. Makes the bikini area sit uncomfortably low.
And I’m petite so the problem will be worse on women of average-above average height.
