Warm and Attractive

I have been a fan of Pendleton board shirts since they were first popular among surfers in SoCal where I grew up, only then I could not afford them. Decades later, they are a staple in my wardrobe. On a lark, I purchased a men's version when a similar pattern in women's sizing was unavailable. After consulting the garment measurements on the Pendleton website, I felt confident an x-small would work, but in truth, could have gotten an xx-small instead. It has a slightly oversized fit on my frame, allowing for a lightweight mock t underneath with room to spare. The construction and finishing are up to Pendleton standards. The fabric is slightly heavier and less smooth and refined than some of my other shirts. I washed it for the first time yesterday. I machine washed it in cool water on a delicate cycle, with a wool wash soap, rinsed, and allowed it to air dry. It came out looking great and did not suffer any shrinkage. I will enjoy it for a long time!
