small head

great value/ I never ordered screws off internet, so I took a chance. these 3 inch x9 / 25 t hex head are as advertised/ I just did not think to look at head width/ so when I sink this screw into a 2x8 to another 2x8 ,because head is smaller than my other 3 inch x 9 /25 t hex /they sink in further, yes will hold but not as good as a wider head .Gary

6 gauge screw, not 9 gauge

If I didn’t need screws so badly the day these arrived I most definitely would have sent them right back. These screws measure out as 6 gauge screws, not 9 as advertised. (see pictures - .131”dia ;pictured next to actual 9 gauge screw ) I find this sort of blatant dishonesty offensive and choose not to do business with retailers who engage in this sort of marketing. Secondly, the screws are quite soft and strip easily, even with the torx head if driven even slightly off alignment. The included bit is also quite soft, becoming marginally useful if you do strip a head or two. Overall, the screws drive fairly well and breakage is average, not significant. If these were advertised as what they are and priced accordingly, I would definitely consider them differently, but under these circumstances, I do not endorse these screws.

Good value for the money

These aren't the best quality control for torx type deck screws but for the money they are certainly worth it. These are significantly less expensive than some other brands The occasional head that won't accept a bit and the occasional screw that breaks the tradeoff is worth it.

TERRIFIC value & superior performance...

the absolute best deal & configuration i've used of these dimensions, yet! the simple & effective countersink heads are icing on the cake, if the price wasn't enough. thanks for the great deal - 24lb @ $90(-)when i bought a 10lb pail last month @ $54(+) and they were the full, chamfered, flat-head T25 screws. this newer style is the bomb (' ',)

great deal on areally good quality screw. Just look around. 5- 5lb. boxes at $34.95 +$175.75. so don't throw away your money, 25lb box was around $116.00.Lewis b

Awesome deck screws

The best deck screws ever. I installed 1700 of them and none broke and only one had a defective head. Highly recommend. Was able to use the same T25 Torx driver for all 1700 screws
