Good quality screws.
They are great. Your life will improve if you buy these.

Threads fit hard drive, but not Supermicro Caddy
I bought these screws specifically to mount HDDs in my SuperMicro Server Chassis in the 4 hot swap bays. Standard screws didn't fit, and stuck out too far to allow the caddy to fully enter back into the chassis. I found a couple countersunk screws laying around, and they worked perfectly fine. I then looked for more of them, which led me to this product. I figured that the countersunk, beveled heads would be identical to the screws I tried, and work perfectly with the hot-swap caddies. Upon receipt of the item, though, the heads of the screws were too large. They didn't fully screw in like the other ones that I tried. In short, these screws DID NOT WORK with my hard drive caddy. Three stars though, considering that they are screws that still work and still screw into hard drives.

Exactly what they should be
What can you say about the bolts themselves? They're exactly what they should be. The nice thing, though, is that they were available from a comprehensive selection, at a very reasonable price, and arrived in just two days. I wasted time checking the three "big box" stores in my area, but none stocked this size bolt with a phillips head. Of course, if they had them, they would have been in a small pack of 6 or 8, which means I'd have paid more for the 36 I needed than Amazon charged me for 100. Amazon/Small Parts comes through yet again.

Machine screws
Good screw I just took one star off because the steel they are made of is a little soft, but I must stress you get what you pay for. If you need a screw that is made of a harder steel then you need to go to a company that sells the fasteners you need.

Normal screws
It was a zinc plated screw. The threads were good and the finish was what I expected

Doesn't match description
There is nothing wrong with the screw itself. But it doesn't match the description on this site. As correctly shown in the drawing, the length of a screw is measured on the threaded portion. In this case, the threads should be 3/8" long. But, in fact, the screw actually has a TOTAL length (threads + head) of 3/8". Therefore, if you order this, you will actually receive a screw that should be labeled as 1/4".

Solid Mounting
I use these for installing bottle openers to decorated planks. They are the right size and make for a solid mount.

Inexpensive, works, that's about it.
Comes in a small bag and you almost don't think there are a hundred in there because they are so small. I've used about 40 of them so far and have had no problems. Way cheaper than buying them from the hardware store where they are packaged 10 to a bag for over $1.

Great product
I needed screws for an xotic effects pedal so I contacted Xotic for replacement screws. Their quick response was tge screws were a 6/32 1/4". That was incorrect. Turns out thread size was correct but the length was half inch. All is not lost as the screws are the perfect replacement for my Sears Washer lid. Now I have an abundance of replacement screws. I'm sure I will find additional uses.
