compact yet functional
I now have one of these in each car. I like the multiple positions for the handle and how compact you can store it. It is also much more durable than the plastic collapsible shovel I used to have.

Fun color. Lightweight. Seems flimsy
This shovel fits together nicely and stores well in the trunk. The feel is very lightweight. I have not used the shovel yet, but I'm worried about the heavy Ohio snow that I will need to move from around and under my tires. Just know that you have this for emergency use and don't expect it to stand up to heavy duty use. But for the price and understanding that it will be used infrequently, in my opinion, this is a good purchase.

Anybody who says this is garbage doesn't understand the design intent
I was gifted a subzero shovel years ago. The first few years in the trunk of my car forgotten about. BUT it has been invaluable on several occasions. Winter camping was the first time it saved the day. Arrived to an unexpected snow storm and needed to shovel out a plowed driveway and an entire camp site. Freed stuck cars, use it regularly ice fishing to clear ice. It is by no means heavy duty and it is not intended to be. It is ment to be light weight and storable and it is certainly that. Anybody who says it broke was using it inappropriately and it's a shame they are allowed to post uninformed unintelligent reviews. Absolutely worth the money.

Great for the price.
Purchased this for use with my snowmobile. It replaces a BCA shovel I seem to have misplaced. This is certainly not the BCA quality but it is less than half the price so I'll make do. Haven't had to use it yet but I think it will do the job. The handle, as pointed out by another reviewer, is a bit loose but the quality is such that I think it will be fine for moving lots of snow. Always amazed that manufacturers don't pay attention to very small issues like this. If the handle was tight, this would be an awesome 5 star shovel.

Great use, and easily strapped to a pack but easily scratched and dented.

great for ice fishing
this shovel is light and very sturdy going in to my ice fishing gear and is great for clearing the ice of snow prior to shelter set up. i love the fact that the handle can be set on the shovel in a few different configurations for breaking up tuff ice clumps. i will be recommending this to all my ice fishing friends.

ASSORTED COLORS; NOT NECESSARILY BLUE
I guess it is my fault for not reading the fine print. These come in assorted colors, not necessarily the blue color in the primary product image. May not be a big deal to everybody, but color matters to me. The product itself seems fine for a lightweight snow shovel. Not something I'd take into avalanche territory or other backcountry situations, but fine for in the car.
