Love These Sunglasses and Lenses!

I have a few pairs of sunglasses from TYR, and the Springdale HTS in the gold/tortoise combination is my favorite. These sunglasses look sharp, have excellent lenses, and are priced much cheaper than leading brands. Like my other TYR sunglasses, the Springdale frames are lightweight and feature non-slip pads on the temples and bridge. The sunglasses stay put, even when wet or sweaty. The gold lenses on the tortoise frames are particularly sharp, in my opinion. These sunglasses have a classic look too! I have a large head, and the Springdale look and feel just fine on my head. Finally, the polarized lenses are excellent. They work great in direct sunlight or even on overcast days. They have a slightly yellow/amber tint but must be worn to believe. I have a pair of Revo sunglasses that retail for about $300, and the TYR lenses are very close to that quality. Recommended!

fit everyone in the house

Given - these glasses are great looking When they came everyone in the house tried them on. The arms are longer and fit the larger male heads comfortably. They somehow also were comfortable of the ladies. The arms did stick out a bit behind their ears, but held a great tension. The lenses give a crisp clear protected image. We are all wearing these glasses. They are the first pair any of us reach for.

My new favorites

These sunglasses are great at protecting my eyes from the sun. I wear them at the pool and while driving and they are so much better than my other pairs of sunglasses. They work great in the bright Florida sun! I love the purple color, too!

Large, dark glasses

These sunglasses are a little more fashionable than I usually buy, but my children assure me that I look "very cool." They fit me well, but I do have a head a bit on the smaller side. I would be concerned that it would be too tight on big heads. The rubber gripping on the temples and bridge helps keep the glasses in place. That's a unique feature I have not seen in others. The glasses are lightweight, and I have worn them comfortably for long periods. The lenses on this silver/black are very dark. I only wear them when sunny outside and the polarization performs very well in those conditions. They are a little too dark with cloudier skies. The lenses are also quite large, but not so large that they bother me. They are oval inside of a squared-off frame. It is an interesting contrast that I like. The glasses come with both a hard and a soft case, and both provide good protection in their appropriate situations.

Female here. I really like these sunglasses - TYR Springdale Hts - Gold/Tortoise. They are lightweight and polarized, and the color combination is super fun - a spark of mischief, but not extreme. The lenses are a reflective dark gold; the frames are tortoise-inspired but very deep in color, almost a dark solid, with a see-thru lighter brown mottle. (The first product pic is the most accurate.) There are blue strips on the inside - not seen when on - that provide grip for the nose bridge and sides. The 53 millimeter frame fits well - I have a standard oval-shaped face. A very sturdy zip hard case and a soft string bag are included.

TYR Springdale Hts Sunglasses Oval

I was not familiar with this brand and had not heard of them before now. They looked good so I thought I'd give them a try. They appear to be well made, fit my big head well and the lenses are super clear. I tried them out trap shooting the other day and I shot really well with them. They were light and comfortable and I was able to see my targets against the bright blue sky sharp and in focus. Reasonably priced as well.

Nice fit

I have nice pair of Ray Bans that I normally wear, which are a similar shape to these... but I prefer the fit of these to the Ray Bans. They stay in place much better also. I keep my Ray Bans because they look really good, and are more high end for going out in the evening, but I would wear these TYR's by the pool all day long.
