Consistent sizing, never baggy

I always buy 6 petite in NYDJ jeans and they always fit perfectly. I am 5'3" 126 lbs and muscular. The waist does not gap like most other brands. This boot cut style is not as tight or clingy as other styles, but still gives you a very nice silhouette. The boot cut is subtle, not a bell bottom. I like it because it balances out my hips. The Lombard color is a little darker than I expected, but I like it. It has some "wear" styled into it, areas that are a little bit lighter color, or worn looking, which I think is nice. All pairs I own stretch comfortably and always hold their shape; they never get baggy.

The best pair of jeans I have ever bought!

I am a petite 50-year old who loves jeans. But I cannot ever find a pair that fits right or that is not too long. This pair fits like a glove on my 5' 3" body. It hugs it in the right places; it's not too tight around my knees and it lifts my butt, which is an extra benefit I did not even expect. This is actually the second pair I bought. The first one was the lighter shade. I wore it with a white T-shirt and people in the 20s looked at me. The jeans are pricey, but they are worth every penny. It's an investment! If you don't put them in a dryer, they will last years.

It is recommended to buy a size smaller than you normally wear. I didn't. I ordered my size and they are still snug.

Ran really small; inconsistent?

I ALWAYS buy down a size in NYDJ but these were super tight. I ordered a couple of pair, 1 and 2 sizes up. Can't imagine I have changed shape that much! Will keep an eye out for these at TJ Maxx for the price.

Fit Comfortably and Look Fantastic!

I love these jeans! I got NYDJ corduroy black jeans years ago in 8P and I’ve loved them for years so I decided to get denim in the same size and they fit perfectly and look and feel great! I am 5’2” and weigh 128.

For tall "petites"!

Not really petite size leg length -- these jeans cut for someone at least 5'5" tall.

Sizes seem to run small not large

I normally wear a size 8 petite in these jeans. I prefer a to wear a comfortable/slightly loose fit. I ordered the NYDJ Barbara Bootcut Jeans a size smaller as it now instructs. The 6p arrived and was too small. I returned them and ordered an 8p. These were too small, perhaps even smaller than the 6p. I don't know what's going on...I've heard that shoes are sometimes made smaller when made in certain countries, but labeled a larger size. Maybe this is what happened with the jeans?? I'm giving up on ordering them in another size again.
