My second pair is still wearing well.

I bought my first pair of these in a store years ago and wear them 4 days a week to work. I have had a hard time finding semi-formal shoes that fit well and match a lot of colors, so I bought these (my second pair) online when I wore out the first ones after a few years. They are still holding up well - just need a bit of polishing by now. They polish easily. The sole will eventually crack or break, but I wore them for years before that happened.

becoming a standard - but maybe not a good shoe for the long haul

Superfast delivery. Decent price. Comfortable shoes that needed no break in period. I am considering buying these shoes every time I need a new pair Update - November 2017 - The shoes started showing signs of wear about six months after purchase. The color of the leather was fading. At eleven months, the shoe leather broke free from the sole, rending the shoe unusable. While this may be normal, I have a black pair of this shoe and it's wearing well, with NO issues. I wear the black pair twice as often as the brown.

I just bought my boyfriend a new second pair because he loves them so much!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. He works white collar for our state and had to give a speech. Well he had an old pair of these same shoes and was trying to polish them, but they were too old and discolored for that. So I let him open his gift early and wore them to work and even got compliments on them. He loved the new pair so much! I'll always make sure to buy him these when I notice he has worn them out after a few years!

Great Shoe for the Money!

I have read the reviews and they are a bit mixed. I will have to say that I have purchased these very same exact shoes from a local chain-retail store about 5 or 6 years ago and have just needed to purchase new ones as I blew the side out of the old left shoe. I love these shoes and was excited to see that they were being sold at such a good price, at least $25 dollars less than that same retailer. I guess the test of time will determine if they will hold up the same (other reviews say they are more cheaply made than earlier years of this model). Perfect fit for me after initial break in period of a week. Same feeling souls and gel in-soul. Great buy!

Great all around shoes!

I purchased 3 pair of these now. I've worn out one pair, I'm wearing the second pair now and still have a new pair in the box. I highly recommend these shoes if you are on your feet a lot, want a dress look and walk on multiple types of surfaces. I happen to be a Service Manager at a Car Dealership and the soles hold up well and aren't nearly as slippery as other shoes like them. I realize these aren't made for the purpose of repair shops however I wear a shirt and tie everyday and these shoes look nice and hold up well in harsher than normal conditions.

GREAT SHOE minor defects

My husband bought these shoes in brown at a local store and loved them with the comfortable gel cushion insole. However they did not have them in black. We were delighted to find them on Amazon but they arrived with a scuff on the side of one of the shoes. He needs them for a wedding so we have no time to send them back and get a new pair so will have to try and polish the scuff out. Other than that they are great shoes and they are ACTUALLY LEATHER and not cheap manmade material.

Great shoes

Wonderful shoes. Bought my first pair at a store in the mall and fell in love with them. After wearing the shoes almost every day for a year and a half they started to wear though so needed to purchase a new pair but the store in the mall stopped selling them. Ordered the same size and they fit great. They do take a week or two to break in but after that they are great. They do tend to get scuffed on the toe of the shoe so I do have to polish them probably one a month.

Was a gift to someone who was elated, as he had purchased this shoe previously. but could not get his size. Great buy
