Smallest 2 drill bits snapped with light pressure and back out bits are worthless.
Bought this in an attempt to remove a valve cover bolt that broke off due to me confusing foot pounds with inch pounds. Tried torquing it to 50 ft# when it should have been 50 INCH# so it snapped right off. So much for a simple diy valve cover gasket replacement - LESSON LEARNED!! Managed to center punch the stud in the engine block and then started drilling with cutting oil, using the smallest (#1) drill bit provided in this kit. I took it nice and slow with gentle downward pressure so that I wouldn't break the little drill bit... Because if you've ever used a small drill bit, you know they will break if you apply too much pressure or if your angle is off center. After about 30 seconds of drilling, the bit gripped the stud and backed it out about 2 turns, then caught on something and snapped. I attempted to try the back out bit that matches the smallest drill bit but it did nothing but spin inside the hole I drilled. So I moved up to the next size left-hand drill bit (#2 in the kit) with hopes of it lasting a tad longer than the #1 bit. It backed out the stud another full turn to the point where I had a bit of the stud now sticking up above the hole. I continued to drill, using cutting oil, and light pressure... Made sure to take breaks after about 30 seconds of drilling as to not overheat the bit. About 15 minutes of that and I was about an inch into the stud before this bit broke. Figured that should be deep enough for the back out but to get a good grip. Switched to the back out bit that matches the drill bit I was using, but again, all it did was spin inside the stud. I first tried tapping the back out bit with a hammer to lodge it into the hole, and then turn it with a crescent wrench but it would not stay in the stud. I realized it would need to be in the drill so that I could apply downward pressure, but all it did was spin inside the hole I drilled. Tried using the smaller and larger sized back out bits to no avail either. The back out bits proved to be completely worthless. Yes, my drill was set on reverse.... Not my first rodeo! Fortunately, the left handed drill bits in this kit were able to get the stud backed out enough that I could get on it with a small chisel so that I could gently tap it counter clockwise. Took me about 1.5 hours to get this 10mm bolt out and I was lucky enough to be close enough to the center when drilling with the #2 bit that I didn't muff the threads in the engine block. My advice based on my results... Just buy some QUALITY left hand drill bits. They were the only part of this kit that did anything for me! Unfortunately they seem to be made out of cheap metal. If you have a broken bolt that is small, requiring small drill bits, then maybe look for TITANIUM left handed drill bits. Be sure to use cutting oil and take it slow. Get more than 1 of each size so that you don't have the problem I faced. I was lucky enough to be able to center punch the broken stud close enough to the middle that the second smallest bit didn't screw up the threads on the engine block. Best of luck to you!!

Good quality works perfect

Worked like a magic wand!
One of my transmission drain pan bolt heads snapped off. I used the extractor (reverse thread bit) and was able to remove the broken bolt easily and quickly. Also, it arrived the day after I ordered it. 100% recommend this extractor set.

Worked perfectly!
Bought this as a last ditch effort to remove an old brake bleeder screw that broke off in a caliper. I used this to drill out the old screw and then used the appropriately sized easy out and the old bleeder screw came out! Saved myself a $100 in having to buy a new caliper. There was no stripping or slipping and never felt like the tools were going to break or fail

Purchased for Automotive work
Case is great although hard to open. Actually slid my finger onto one of the drill bits trying to open it the very first time and got myself pretty good. Needless to say it backed out some broken bolts in a camshaft and valve covers (different occasions). Haven’t broken any yet. Don’t apply pressure until you’ve drilled a decent hole and be steady with the little pressure you do apply! Even the best ones would break under mistakes like that. Look forward to using it more and hope I won’t need to purchase more for a long while. Best money spent! Compared to ones sold at auto stores or hardware stores (of which all would heat up and melt away, or simply break).

Drill bits are worthless, extractors are ok.
The drill bits are probably the worst bits I've ever used. I ended up using much larger drill bits than were available in this set so the biggest extractor could get some traction. I used a 1/2" dewalt impact on the biggest extractor and I'm honestly surprised it didn't break. It actually got the bolt out. Used on a rear subframe bolt on a Jeep, for reference.

Work well but I 've only used the two largest but they held up and did not break

Useless drill bits, but extractors are good
The drill bits are all cut at the wrong angle so have negative cut (back edge higher than cutting edge) the fluting is designed to remove swarf but with the cutting edge as is, wont cut at all. So suggest sharpening with a bench grinder if you have one. Also the drill bits are NOT cobalt as suggested, they're steel with a titanium coating. So they are not designed to cut stainless steel even if they were sharpened correctly. The extractors are also steel with a titanium coating.

Watch out for import taxes!
Product does what it says on the tin - drills not commonly available in UK and I fell into the trap ordering these but not realising they come from the USA . Taxes virtually double the cost (Thanks Royal Mail for your ridiculous handling charges!) but the seller was willing to refund the taxes as their ad failed to mention their location As far as useability is concerned - tip - go easy and try warming up the area you are drilling with a torch or hot air gun before drilling / extracting your screw or stud (slowly slowly catchy monkey!)

Useless product
Two drills snapped on first use. I'm not sure what they are supposed to be made of, but they are brittle and made no impression on some standard wood screws. The extractors are also blunt and ineffective. The metal box design is very poor, the smaller drills drop out and become wedged. This is a cheap and very poor product.
