Perfect as Deterrent for Small Children

We installed the lock at the top pf a door when our son learned how to get out of the house from side exit door when he is not able to understand the potential danger. The school taught him how to open all different types of locks, but he still has no concept of danger from strangers, cars, etc. This made us feels more secure

Good Privacy Lock

We are using the latch for privacy on restroom doors and not for security. You need to take time and care when installing. If the two pieces are not aligned properly then the bolt will have problems sliding into the opening. There is very little margin of error.

Standard.

Inexpensive. Gets the job done. Decent quality, but not great. Works. I have seen better, for sure. But, hey...if it works and saves money, why not? If you are looking for a budget buy to serve the purpose, this will do. Good quality for the price, but again, the more expensive ones are better... and more expensive.

What happens behind closed doors..

Needed a way to keep the kids out of the room when I’m getting it on with the old lady so I got this lock to install on the door. It’s worked out perfectly and I’ve had no close calls with walk-ins. I highly recommend this item.
