Love it!
Works great for pepper, I also love that it’s rechargeable!

I like it
Two things I had issues with right out of the box. One, the top part was difficult to unlock and twist off, and getting it back on and locking after adding the pepper was just as bad. It seems to get easier after awhile. Second, there is a cap underneath that covers the mill and grind size selector. It basically has to be pried off. If you don’t have fingernails, you may need to use something thin to work it off. If you have arthritis or other issues with your hands, this may not be the grinder for you. The mill has ceramic blades, and it grinds pretty good. Though getting the grind you want is by trial and error. There are no markings on the grind selector knob to use as a guide, just turn until you get what you want. My Peppermate mill, which I adore, is the same way. The looser the knob the coarser the grind. The level of the peppercorns can be seen through the clear window on the grinder. If you use a lot of pepper, expect to refill the grinder often as it doesn’t hold that much pepper. I’m reviewing this as a pepper mill, but it can also be used to grind salt and dried spices. I do a mix of coarse sea salt and a dried herb like basil or parsley in one of my other grinders. I will try that out with this grinder when the pepper runs out. Nice features of this mill are the rechargeable battery, and the light. This is my first electric grinder. The only issues I have with it, is unlocking and locking the top part from the mill, and removing the cap from the bottom of the mill. Other than that, I like it. Update: I thought the grinder was broken because it wouldn’t charge. I tried using a USB-C cable that came with iPad, and the one that came with my Samsung phone. It wouldn’t charge with either one. I managed to find the cable that came with the mill, and it worked. So keep the supplied cable handy as others may not work.

Grinds well, but too loud to be enjoyable to use
This works well as a grinder and I appreciate that it is rechargeable and doesn't need batteries, but it's too loud. I just don't like it. It makes high-pitched whiny electric sound.

It's loud and doesn't hold very much.
It's a handy device when you don't have the dexterity or the strength to use a regular hand operated grinder. It comes with only one grinder and you are supposed to put salt and pepper in there at the same time, I don't use it for that instead I have been using it for whole black peppercorns and it works well. The grind is small enough it won't leave huge pieces of pepper for you to chew into.

Perfect for the dinner table, not so much cooking
Really sleek design, I love the way it looks with my kitchen. It only holds about 2 tablespoons of black pepper. It is perfect for the dinner table, dispenses at just the right speed for your plate. I wouldn't really use it for cooking because it work take too long to get the amount that I need for big meals. Also constantly refilling it wouldn't be fun. It comes with a charger but not a box to charge it no, no biggie, we have charge boxes all over. I did charge it for the recommended 4 hours.

A rare miss for Zwilling
I'm a big fan of Zwilling products, so I had high hopes for this pepper grinder. My wife and I are those weirdos who have 3 different kinds of peppercorns in the house at all times ready for fresh grinding (black, white & red...yes, I know red peppercorns aren't really peppercorns, don't @ me). I was excited to upgrade to an electric grinder for the reds, since it's what we use second most often. Sadly, this grinder isn't really optimal for red pepper. I wouldn't ding it stars for that, except I don't think it's really optimal for black pepper either. First the good: I love that it has a rechargeable battery. When we used a battery powered grinder before, we went through a lot of batteries from how much we love pepper. It's also really easy to load, and the hopper is well designed to keep peppercorns from spilling all over while filling. It comes with a cord and a cap, although the cap is pretty stiff to get on and off. OK, that's about it for what I liked. Now the less good: First off, this thing grinds really slowly. I'm spoiled by the high-volume pepper grinder my wife got me for my birthday, but honestly this took around 10-12 seconds to give me enough pepper for one side of a steak. I also couldn't adjust the grind to the level I can with other pepper grinders, both manual and electric. The grind starts at what I'd consider very fine, and the coarsest setting I can get before the adjustment knob comes off is fine to regular. There doesn't seem to be a way to get a good coarse grind from this device. Also, just as a minor gripe, it's much louder than any electric grinder I've had before. Honestly, I expected better from Zwilling, and I expect better for this price. This mill doesn't work as well as some $20 no-name units I've used.

Easy to use and light weight
The best mill we have ever had. Getting off the bottom is a little difficult.
