More space than it seems
Bought this for my daughter for an international trip as the carry on requirements were very strict. Was able to fit a purse, medication in boxes, a change of clothes, some travel size essentials, 2 international adaptors, a phone charger and a portable charger. The size is very deceiving

Smaller than expected
It was too small for what I needed it for, gave it to my husband and he uses it to carry keys and a few small things for work. Works great for him.

Lots of functionality in a small package!
We ended up returning this bag as it was too small for our needs (backpack for a school aged kid) but if need a good small backpack for traveling, I know where to go! Takeaways: - this is pretty small in height and width but great depth! Could hold an iPad (mini, regular) but not an iPad Pro. - Was not able to fit a pocket folder (designed for 8.5 x 11 pieces of paper). - Liked that there are two big zipper pockets and small zipper pockets. Side pocket for water bottle was small and better suited to skinnier bottles - quality of material and zippers felt good - liked the basic black color - easy to personalize -straps had good padding

Medical supply bag
My son is using this as a medical supply bag. It works great, is the perfect size. Nice to have dual straps and all of the pockets.

Actual size is smaller than stated.
Below is my original review, before I received this new one. The actual size is 8" wide x 12" high x about 5.5" deep. I thought maybe I got one from a bad batch. But I called Everest, and theirs measured the same as mine. However, their website, the description here on Amazon, and the tag on the backpack all state 9.5 x 13 x 6. The person I spoke with at Everest couldn't care less. How disappointing. ------------------------------------------------ I love this backpack!!!! I got one at our county fair and now I'm getting a second one from Amazon. It's small, which is perfect for every day use. But it's very roomy, with lots of pockets and handy storage spaces. I like that there are three separate zipper compartments. I also like that there is no fabric flap covering the zipper, which I just find inconvenient. It's also very lightweight. And very functional. Inside the largest zipper compartment, there is a mesh pocket in the front side, and a smaller pocket in the back side. In the middle zipper compartment, there is a pocket with a mesh zipper pocket and card storage pockets. In the front, smaller zipper compartment, that's where I put my phone, for very easy access. There are mesh pockets on both sides on the outside, for water bottles, and I also put an umbrella in there when needed. The padding on the adjustable straps are very comfortable. I would like something more fashionable, but the fashionable ones are heavy, wrong size, not functional like this one. So I'm just sticking to this since I love it.

I love the side and the multiple pockets on this bacpack and the only thing i hate about it is that it lend out while u carry it... looking for a bag that is comfortable to carry

A very functional small backpack
I love, love, love this small backpack! I am 5'8", and this is perfect for my everyday use. If you're a prepper, this is also perfect as an EDC bag. There is a mesh pocket inside the main compartment where I can keep extra items like a toothbrush, travel toothpaste, floss and travel deoderant (since you never know when you might need to freshen up). I also keep a first aid kit, meds, sewing kit, trash bag, zip lock bag, compact mirror and matches in a makeup bag in the larger compartment along with my wallet. Lastly, in the large compartment there is another pocket that I keep my LifeStraw in. I think the main purpose of this pocket is to hold your iPod, because there is a small outlet in the bag where headphones can come out. The middle compartment is perfect for my reading glasses, pen, Sharpie, business cards and a multi-tool. The smaller compartment in the front is used for travel napkins and hand sanitizer. I use one of the side mesh pockets to hold my cell phone, and the other mesh pocket for my keys. I keep all this plus there is plenty of room for more stuff. This bag may be small, but it holds a lot of everyday items. The material is not cheap and the handles are comfortable to wear as a full-on backpack or to just sling it over one shoulder. I have always used small backpacks as my purse, but his is by far the best one I have purchased.

Love, love, love this lil backpack! It sure holds alot for how small it is. I was able to pack a light shirt, tanktop, leggings,light hoodie, tablet, phone, travel sized lotion, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner & toothpaste, Toothbrush, comb, cash, keys, 2 credit cards, charger & ID. And it wasn't even close to being stuffed. I love that the straps are padded. From the front: 1st zippered pocket->just a small regular pocket, it's pretty deep 2nd zippered pocket->this is the first main compartment. It has 2 zippers & opens pretty big. There are 3 little card slots & a little zippered mesh pocket. That's where I stowed my cash. Behind those is another open pocket, which isn't too deep but is long. And there's a key ring stitched into the top seam of the backpack in this compartment. 3rd zippered pocket->also has 2 zippers & is the other main compartment. It's very open inside, this is where I put most of my stuff that wasn't small. Inside, on the back, there is a small padded pocket that's sewed into the seam of the backpack so its hanging from the top. Since there is also an opening for headphone wires, I assume one would put a music device like an IPod in this padded pocket. Opposite of that, there is a large zippered pocket, which I didn't even notice at first. There are mesh pockets on the outside on either side of the bag. I am very impressed with this little bag, definitely worth the money! It really accommodates a lot of stuff!

Perfecta para la ciudad!
Es más pequeña que una mochila escolar y muy ligera, yo la uso para llevar a mi perro al parque. Trae 3 compartimientos donde caben perfectamente un paraguas chico, una botella de agua de 1/2 litro, plato colapsable, bolsas para deshechos, la correa, mi impermeable, estuche de lentes, las llaves, y celular. Las correas son acolchadas y se ajustan bien a los hombros. A cada lado trae una bolsa pequeña de red, cabe una botella de 250 ml. Trae perforación para audífonos.

Es más pequeña de lo que crees.
Pero tiene mucho espacio, yo siempre cargo demasiadas cosas, la mayoría jamás las uso, así que no me importa no llevarlo todo. La verdad está muy bonita y es funcional. Pero tardó demasiado en llegar, como miembro Prime uno esperaría que los envíos que vienen de EU no tardaran casi dos semanas en llegar, pero no es el caso. Además la caja llegó muy dañada, menos mal que no pedí nada frágil.

La calificación sólo es porque a pesar de que la mochila trae las medidas correctas de la descripción, ésta se siente más pequeña de lo que esperaba. Para el fin que la ocupo es apenas buena opción, pero estuve buscando en tiendas y no econtré algo mejor. en cuanto a materiales y acabados es excelente, es muy buena marca y se siente cómoda en los hombros. tiene muchas bolsas internas, excepto en el compartimento grande, ahi sólo trae uno tipo laptop.

Shipping was fast, and it is as described. It's a pretty spacious backpack for its size and comfortable to wear. However, by third use the fabric was already tearing at the seams - definitely not well made. I got a Herschel Town Backpack to replace and it's excellent - just a little bigger but much better made.
