Simple, cheap and qualifies as "personal item"

This simple and cheap backpack won't win any design awards, but it certainly isn't schlock. Furthermore, it fits the dimensions of a "personal item" on Spirit and WOW airlines, for anyone not eager to pay the exorbitant carry-on rates.

Affordable gift.

At first I was unfamiliar with the Everest brand. I think the Everest backpacks are as well made as some more popular brands. They are well made. I like the tie down straps in the front and the padded straps. I work with students at Job Corps and the Everest backpack makes an affordable graduation gift. I have gave about 5 Everest backpacks away so far. I kept one for myself.

Just OK

Very reasonably priced, and useful as a daypack. I bought this for use on trip to SE Asia, and it was lightweight enough. But, the padded back is a solid piece of plastic, and it was very hot and sweaty in the humid climate. After a couple of weeks of use, I purchased a cheapo in Asia that had a mesh type covering on the back which was more comfortable.

You Get What You Pay For

This backpack is a nice size and has several pockets which helps separate my work from my lunch from my water bottles. The quality isn't terrific and I've already pulled off a few loose strings. It's good enough for what I am using it for, but I don't recommend it to carry heavy textbooks. I'm glad that I purchased this bag and feel that I am getting my monies worth.

great value, nice backpack

Great for the price. Exactly what I needed. I've had it for about 6 months and use it as a daily gym bag. Even after the abuse, it's still holding up great. If you need a basic, solid, decent sized backpack at a remarkable price, this is the one to buy.

Low zipper

The zipper goes all the way down to the base of this backpack. Contents are pronr to fall out and material isn't the best

Solid day pack

backpack is sturdy, lots of space, decently lightweight and the size I was looking for. Zippers seem pretty reliable so far as well.

awesome bag, not that bulky

bought this with single digit price. awesome bag , not that bulky. Great for students in college when they dont need to carry huge text books. Absolutely best bang for buck with the price that i got this for. Also, good quality.
