FANTASTIC SOCKS! SUPER WARM & ALL MY BOOTS FIT NOW!!!
I purchased two pairs of these a few years back because I live in Iowa and it gets very, very, brutally cold here in the winters. I not only wear these outside with shoes and boots, but these are pretty much on my feet all winter inside the house like a pair of slippers. They’re very thick and will keep your feet warm on those chilly days around the house. However, I just bought another two pairs recently when I discovered what FANTASTIC boot socks these make! I purchased a beautiful pair of heavy duty Wolverine dressy/casual Chelsea Boots and to my dismay, my feet would slip when walking - rendering the boots useless to me. I almost returned them, but they were so beautiful and the nicest pair of boots that I’ve ever owned, that I started asking around for some advice. I was told by several people to wear two pairs of socks or purchase boot socks. I’m new to this style of boots and didn’t already know this trick. Then I remembered that I had these thick Carhartt socks. Problem solved! My new Wolverine’s fit like a dream now. I tried the socks with other Chelsea style boots that I’ve purchased recently and same thing. They ALL fit perfectly now. THANK YOU Carhartt!!!

Nice and thick
I was pleased with the thickness of these socks. The top elastic isn't super tight at the top of the sock, which I was apprehensive about at first as I was afraid they wouldn't stay up- but they haven't slipped down and become bunched up, so I find I actually appreciate this feature (I don't want them too tight at the top causing my circulation to get cut off). They're warm for what they are- which is a synthetic blend. If you need something that's really warm, this probably isn't it- you'll probably need wool. They've washed and worn well. Overall, a good product.

Carhartt winter boot socks
I have problems with my feet swelling , I need oversize socks with cushion and these are the finest I've seen, after many years of working in the mountains and hikin and skiing camping the first part of my life ,I've never seen better.

These socks are well made and extremely comfortable. The socks are padded on the bottom and have just enough elastic on the top to hold them up at this price they are a great buy.

Good Quality, Pricey
It is expensive for a sock but the quality is good. It is thick but I expected to be extra thicker.
