Like the slow close lid
Bought this to replace contractor quality toilet lid. Never had a slow close lid before but I really like it. Install was easy and the breakaway nut insure tight fit without over tightening. Thinking about replacing the other lids in the house because of the slow close feature. Prevents lid slamming down when our little grandkids loose their grip on the lid.

We replace a new toilet seat that was impossible to clean around the mouonting area. This is a nice design

Comfortable, solid, nice slow close
Very comfortable enameled wood slow-close seat. Other plastic ones we tried were crazy-deep slanted. This one ergonomic. Great value.

Screw broke after 1 week
This seat cost me an aggravating hour of fussing with the screws. Only to have the same screws break a week a later. The screws are under the toilet so it's not a comfortable position to be fussing around for more than needed. The instruction says to tighten till the "cap" falls off. I did just that and was happy to be finished. After one week of use, the seat decided it didn't like my toilet and attempted to escape. I'm a woman of 5' tall and 115lbs so it can't be my big bootie that broke the seat. I'm upset that it broke after a week but I'm more pissed that I have to do it again. This poor product costs money and TIME!

Comfortable, quiet and easy to install toilet seat.
We bought one last year and liked it so much we just bought two more to replace our other old seats. They close gently and quietly - no more slamming when the grandchildren visit! They're easy to install and fit well, but make sure you measure the pan to decide if you need 'round' or 'oval' as it's not always obvious.

My upstairs bathroom, Toilet seat that was there was oak and fell apart easily within 2 months. This toilet seat more than up for the last toilet seat
