did not fit properly

did not fit well, had to take a knife and trim the edges to make it fit.

the filter looks to be well made but I had to trim off the inside to get it to fit my 27 hp Kohler V twin on my 1554 Cub Cadet other than that works good.

I ordered two of these. The filters themselves seem to be okay, but neither one came with the outside foam wrapping. If you need that part, I would look for something else. Update to previous review. I contacted Maxpower customer support about the missing pre-cleaners. I had only ordered two filters but today I received four pre-cleaners free of charge. Props to Maxpower.

Poor fit on 26 hp Kohler Courage SV-735

I couldn't get it on so that cover would close. Measured the opening in filter and it is 5 mm smaller than the original, and about 4 mm shorter in height. At a glance, it appears identical to OEM so it sat on my shelf for 7 months before using. Now too late to return. My tractor has a 26 hp Kohler Courage SV-735 engine and the part number is 32 083 03-S, which this item is supposed to be a direct replacememnt for. Don't be duped by a product that "almost" fits. Before this I bought a 2 pack from Upstart Components that was a perfect fit. Guess I'll try them again.

Not same size

Filter seems to be slightly larger than the original, and the surface is a grippy rubber that made it impossible to latch the wire bail that holds the filter in place. The opening does fit over the throat of the carburetor so it filters the air but I had to McGiver the closing latch. Would go OEM for next time.

For My Garden Tractor

Great for my garden tractor. However, do as I did and plan in advance, the international shipping is certainly not over night. I always order another when I replace the one in use.

Perfect replacement filter

Fit nice and snugly with no problems. The engine was breathing more easily right away with a clean filter installed.
