Cute but 10.5 ran large

I wear 10.5 which is a super hard size to find, most shoe makers don't bother to carry it. So I was excited to find these in my size. I thought at first they fit because they felt a little narrow but still roomy and thought they would be fine with socks. Ultimately though they are much larger than I thought and fit more like an 11 than 10.5. Which I think happens a lot as another pair I bought from this manufacturer in 10.5 fit more like a 10. So maybe they are just labeled that half size vs. the shoes being made true to that particular size. It's happened with other shoes I've purchased in this size so not just this manufacturer and maybe is just something they do to placate customers in this size who probably represent a small part of the overall shoe buying community. I bought them in June and didn't really realize I couldn't wear them until it got cold so unfortunately it's too late to return, just wanted to put it out there to other 10.5's who know my pain lol. Usually we have to size either up or down to try to find a shoe and in this case I wish I had exchanged them for a 10 when I had the chance.

Beautiful but uncomfortable!

This boot is beautifully made but fits oddly here and there. I wanted so badly to like this boot that I ordered two pair. They were very well packaged (unusual in today's world) and absolutely lovely, made of actual leather, not faux leather; I loved them right out of the box. They seemed to fit okay, so I wore a pair on a short trip, involving much walking. The first problem that arose was the rubbing on the outside of my heels, then the rubbing on my little toes. I wear regular/medium width shoes, have done so all my life, but these are too narrow in places. It did not take long at all for the pain to begin and blisters to form. In order to make it through the day, I used layers of bandaids in the places that rubbed. That was several weeks ago, and I still have places on my feet where the blisters were. There is also no padding at all in the insole, so there is no cushion for your foot. I returned the unworn pair and am endeavoring to stretch the pair I wore. So disappointing; they are beautifully made.

Very comfy boot!

This boot is very comfy from the first wear! There was not a need to "break them in" at all. I ordered a 10.5, which is difficult to find and they fit perfectly.

Notes on fit

These shoes are -slightly- narrow BUT as they are leather this was rapidly resolved with a thick pair of hiking socks and a misting of water on the outside. I wore them for a few hours around the house until they dried and now they are Perfect. I was originally concerned as they are fairly long in the toebox and I am not a fan of pointy shoes, but after wearing them for a day, they are comfortable enough to be on your feet all day in them. The tops come higher up the ankle than most chukka style shoes but not too much so. I found that the first all-day wear the band where the top of the shoe hit on my ankle prevented me from wearing them the next day but not so much that I even noticed any issues until I put the shoes on. I imagine (hope) this will soften a bit as they get broken in but is not a real problem.

Size down

These boots are super light in weight. The navy color is more like a greenish navy, which was a nice surprise since I have navy boots already. The only reason I returned them is because they were too big and will order them in a smaller size.

They are so conmfortable, I bought 5 pairs

For the last two years and the foreseeable future, these are my favorite shoes/boots. Light weight, soft, don't need to break in. many color options. Love them.

Great Little Boots

These are lovely. I’ve already worn them for a day in these photos. I bought these in 9.5, which is my standard size and I would say they are a perfect fit. I can still wear a wool sock in them and be comfortable. They are very well crafted and a beautiful design and lightweight and comfortable. The suede needs special care and wiping, and so far I have been able to just lightly wipe them with a paper towel without rubbing it. They look great and feel great and are stylish.

Quality leather and comfortable

The boots are genuine leather, lightweight and nice design on the exterior. I usually wear size 8, but they weren't available; so I took a chance and ordered 1/2 size down & they fit comfortably; with some wiggle room to wear socks. I bought them at a great price & will probably order another color if the price was right. Overall recommend buying!

Not really comfortable

These are stylish but not particularly comfortable as the foot bed is hard. I am looking for an insert to help with this issue.

Excelente calidad pero muy angosto y diseño cuestionable

Compré estás botas por que los materiales me gustaron y se veían bien hechas en las fotos y en las reseñas y así fue, realmente se ven de muy buena calidad, la piel es muy muy suave y tiene la suela costurada y no pegada. La plantilla también es de piel e igual es muy suave. Leí comentarios que hablaban de que la suela era de mala calidad por ser de caucho pero realmente considero que fue una buena elección ya que esto hace que las botas no pesen prácticamente nada lo cual las hace mucho más cómodas de llevar que otras que he tenido y aunque sean de caucho las suelas son firmes y no rechinan en absoluto. También vi en las reseñas que algunos las notaban estrechas así que pedí una talla más de la que suelo pedir y aún así me quedaron algo estrechas, no me imagino como me quedaría mi talla real, por eso le quito una estrella. Otra cosa que no me gustó mucho es que ya puestas se ven algo extrañas, hacen ver el pie ligeramente más largo de lo que es, es como un efecto visual de como están diseñadas, es como si tomaras el diseño que usan en las botas de vestir de hombre y las "adaptaras" para que fueran de mujer lo cual las hace lucir algo extrañas. En general lo recomiendo si eres de pie delgado y no te molesta las observaciones del diseño que hice, si es así pide tu talla normal. La calidad es inigualable por el precio.

Solicite un punto completo mas

Pedí una talla mas grande y me quedaron ligeramente grandes, los compare con otros zapatos de la misma marca y de una talla menor y estos son mas angostos por eso creo que algunas personas les parecen pequeños, si tienes pies delgados pide tu talla habitual.
