Body smoother

I purchased a med which is a size smaller than my regular size. Easy to put on and has a good amount of support. It wasn’t maximum but held in a great amount. It is very comfortable as well.

Impossible to un-snap

Now, this does suck my tummy in nicely, which is why I’m keeping it. I don’t want the hassle of a return. But I have to take my shirt off and pull this down like underwear every time I use the restroom because the snap is unreachable. It’s SO FAR away! This also makes you thighs pop, and I’m just gonna live with that because it’s better than the line created by having the shorts. Second, it’s a smidge on the small side. I have a long torso and it barely fits even though I ordered what I am in sizes for everything else. Don’t size down for sure. Depending on your shape, maybe size up. It will still smooth you out. Love that it diminishes the back bumps by bra straps.

A bit snug but okay

So this one was a bit tighter to get into but once on it felt comfortable enough and was flattering. My main complaint (and this seems to be the same one I’ve I have on all newer styles of body shapers) is the crotch hooks. The placement is not ideal. Not only are the hooks facing in the direction that is less convenient to hook and unhook, but having the placement further back makes getting the snaps hooked and unhooked a bit of an acrobatic routine. This is not ideal when needing a quick release when needing to use the restroom and a bit of a struggle when using public toilets.

Sucks you in

I bought this garment due to being 11 weeks postop for body lift and trying so many different faja garments and women’s compression garments to help with the swelling. I’ve spent probably $500 on different Dana’s and compression garments over the past three months after surgery and this provides better compression than the surgical grade marina garment that is recommended from my doctor. I bought the same brand in the past when I was 150lbs Overweight, just a different style than this one and it really snatched me in and was comfortable enough to wear all day at work as a nurse. The only thing I wish was the crotch did not snap because I’ve noticed over the past three months constantly having to wear these compression garments that the crotch area tends to rip within 1 to 2 months so I keep having to replace them and some do start to lose their stretch, but this brand seems to keep the shape and continue to suck you in the same!!! I figured I would try to give this compression garment A tryy due to the good price, I had a really good experience in the past with this brand of compression garment, and I did not have to spend another hundred dollars on the medical grade compression garment faja for it to rip again, this crotch area does seem more reinforced then the other garments I have purchased from the other companies!!!

Doesnt limit your breathing!

Yes, it's tight, but not so much as to cut off your circulation. Does not TOTALLY hide rolls and front flab, but does a decent job.

This is not plus size small. Choose your regular size. Size up if in-between sizes.

The description says "plus size" small. It really is just a regular small. I am a size 6 clothing in various brands. Can be a size 8 if it is high waist pants or skirts (due to the belly because of children). I usually wear medium for looser fit or small for a tighter/tailored fit. I'm in between small (size US 6) and medium (size US 8) at 5'4 and 135-140lbs Due to this, I ordered the "plus size" small. It did fit on the torso, but not the hips. If the size isn't ordered right, it creates a bum-lump under a dress because the seams ends and pushes your bum out to make a weird underwear shaped lump. My advice, order the size as if this is regular sized. Ignore the 'plus size' description in the drop down menu because it isn't plus sized. Hope that settles it for everyone. I just returned the small to re-order as a medium. Overall opinion, it helps smooth out the belly a little but isn't a corset. So my post-par-tum belly bump is still a bump, but smoothed over where you see one smooth belly instead of three separate lumps (i.e: above my belly button, at my belly button and under my belly) . Won't make you look like you lost pounds but does make my pencil skirts look better than if I had no shape-ware on. Still the belly bump, but not as protruding nor lumpy. I've tried another brand but Maidenform is better made hands down in both price, quality and re-wears (because you'd be surprise, some shape-ware only lasts a short time)

and I find them to be comfortable enough to wear all day - I mean

I bought one of these a couple of years ago, and found that it offered just the support I needed. I could suddenly wear dresses again! I now own several, and I find them to be comfortable enough to wear all day - I mean, it's tight and I'm happy to take it off at the end of the day , but that's what I wanted. They're easy to get in and out of, and the hook and eye clasps at the crotch really help when you're in a hurry to use the restroom.

It's a workout to get this thing on...

This was smaller than sizing suggests (even with the expectation that shapewear is tight) but ok. The body length is short so if you have a longer torso or a belly, this isn't the piece for you. It was super difficult to put on but is comfortable enough once in place. But wow, it was a lot of work to get this thing on! The shoulder straps are quite narrow and dig in. I had to loosen straps to the longest point to make this wearable but my shoulders are red with marks after just a few hours of wear. If they made the straps wider and of softer materials, I recommend this.
