Seem sturdy enough

I've been playing wannabe arborist with these gloves for a few days after tearing through my last two sets of name brand automotive work gloves in 2-3 recreational climbs. They fit pretty well and provide decent dexterity. I am able to operate carabiners and snaps with ease. The only visible wear so far has been the decals on the backs of the hands, but who cares? The only reason its not 5 stars is that I can get a comparable glove for 1/3 of the price, which I ordered at the same time as these. I ordered these since they would ship quicker than the other pair. I plan to fully test the others to the same extent. The winner will be the new go-to glove for what I'm doing. Update: These gloves lasted a month, but my climbs have gotten more arborist and less recreational. The underlying glove is still fine but the coating wore off to the point they were requiring more effort for grip. They are still usable for typical yard work and the cut resistance remains intact. For reference: 1 star - Typical mechanix brand or similar: 2-3 days before my skin became visible through holes in finger tips 4 stars - This item: about a month before coating wore to the point that it grip was compromised. 3 stars - Another glove of this brand: "MAGID D-ROC Lightweight Hyperon NitriX Grip Technology Palm Coated Work Gloves - Cut Level A7" about 2 weeks before the coating was gone. Still usable for normal yard work stuff though.

Quality

This is the third time I have ordered these gloves The first two were very good. These are exactly the same pecs but much smaller and very tight to wear. The vendor has cheapened this product.

Safety and comfort

Gloves fit comfortably. The provide good grip and protection for mundane work. I take these to the office to use when I need to do some light work in the back warehouse area, such as moving a pallet into position, moving metal items, or cutting with a safety knife. I've only had them for a few weeks but so far the silicone coating on the palms has remained in place. I was a little concerned it might wear or peel off over time, but this has not happened.

Flexible and grippy

These are great gloves for anytime you need some extra grip. The cut protection is also welcome and gives these added purpose. They do run a bit more snug than other other Magid gloves of the same size, but I don't find them uncomfortable.

medium weight and works well with good styling

I find the gloves a bit too stiff due to the silicone palm. Like the styling and fits as expected.

Sturdy, well made, generous silicone coating, true-to-size

These are nicely made gloves, the material is very robust and the small amount of sewing required by this knit-mostly-as-one-piece design is excellent. The silicone coating is good and thick, especially good for working around sticky substances and seems to give a confident grip on just about everything. Cut-level certification is very welcome as I frequently work around sharp edge tools and materials with burrs. The printing on the back of the gloves is clear and handsomely designed. Not sure why I care about that but I don't know, makes me feel confident my hands are protected when I'm wearing them. I usually take a Men's L glove and this Large size fits very well, with the exception that the gusset between the pinky and ring finger doesn't reach quite down to the web between those fingers, maybe 3/8" short. That could be for manufacturing purposes as I see those gussets line up in a straight line. Or maybe I'm a hand mutant :) In any case, it's not something I even notice once I get focused on my work instead of inspecting the glove. Comfortable hand protection

This is my second pair of D-ROC gloves. The first pair, which has held up remarkably to a lot of abuse, is a different model. Though a little tight for a Large, these are nonetheless comfortable. I decided to test the dry grip claim, so I wore these while handling power tools, hand tools, large parts, and small parts; the grip felt superior to what I am used to while wearing work gloves. I was even able to reload a string trimmer spool with these on. I don't work with hot sealants, but sometimes I pick up a tool or ladder that has gotten hot from being in the sun. The extra heat-resistance of these gloves would really help in those instances. My other D-ROC gloves are rated A7, which means they withstand about twice the cutting load that these A5s do. That said, I believe the mid-level cut resistance of the A5 is adequate for most situations a tradesman or DIY is likely to encounter. The lower the A number, the higher the dexterity. So it's a trade-off. For heavy construction or other situations where the risk of cuts is high, you should probably step up to an A7.

Super Grippy, decently flexible, snug fit.

These fit like a glove should - snug all around, but not uncomfortable. The clear silicone coating on the glove bottom is super-grippy and goes from the wrist to fingertips and wraps around the fingertips and part of the sizes. It DOES affect dexterity and sense of touch a little, but you can easily grip a wet hammer handle. These are also a bit thicker than typical disposable work gloves, but that makes sense with the extra protection. Cut protection level 5 is the first level to protect against utility blades.
