Exceptional
These gloves are really really nice. They were soft right out of the gate without being flimsy. Nice features, work well with touch screen, can easily be attached to belt or jacket with the loops. Reinforced stitching really does make a difference and they have held up well so far. This company makes really nice things and incorporates top-notch materials like kevlar thread and Goldloft insulation. I know cost of materials has gone up but I still wish they didn't cost so much so I could order a few more pairs!

Great but pricey work gloves
These are great, comfortable gloves. I like that they are available in sizes other than large, as I prefer a tighter fitting work glove at times. These are extremely comfortable, well padded, and extremely durable. They are a tight fit on me, which I want, but that makes them a little difficult to put on and take off, but great for working. You almost forget they are there. My only minor issue is the price. Sure, you get what you pay for, but $85 is a lot of money for a pair of work gloves, in my opinion.

Comfortable Fitting
They make a excellent set of work gloves. Made with superior materials for longer lasting use. The overall stitching was consistent and straight with no manufacturing errors or loose threads anywhere to be snipped anywhere. Very good sign of excellent quality control. Has a loop to hang them with and they can be connected together so one doesn’t go on vacation without the other. Parts are cowhide and these have been made with some goat leather as well. Both together help the longevity of the set. They wear well and hours of use are easily accomplished with little fanfare. Very nice. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

A very nice cool- to cold-weather work glove
These Mountain Hardwear Route Setter Alpine Work Gloves may raise an eyebrow for their relatively lofty price, but after loading, moving, and unloading a U-Haul trailer of furniture that made its way from Pennsylvania to Connecticut, I'm becoming convinced that they're worth the price. The goatskin work surfaces are easy on the eyes and hands and seem likely to wear well. I'd call this a cool- to cold-weather work glove, which is what the 'Alpine' in the name is intended to signal. The gloves fit me snugly but not uncomfortably. They did not require any breaking-in to speak of. They clip together with a diminutive plastic connection at the base of both thumbs, but the carabiner-worthy circles on the inside of the wrist are a nice touch and may well prove worthy when it comes to drying the things out after a day's work in snowy weather. As I wrote, I'm becoming convinced. After a first trail, they deserve the five stars I'm coughing up.

Comfortable and well made
Good: -Reinforced stitching. -Wrist area has stretchable elastic for a custom fit. -Grommet hole makes it easy to put on and take off. Bad: -Instructions indicate not to wash and to hand wipe with damp cloth. I ordered the Mountain Hardwear Route Setter Alpine Work Glove. My son wears a mens size medium to large and I selected size medium. He likes the glove for its quality, fit and design. The index fingers have a carabiner loop for convenient hanging. The interior fabric is soft, comfortable and thick without feeling bulky. The glove is made well and has some great features. Overall, the glove looks impressive and will be a good winter accessory for the cold weather months.

Not sure this glove has distanced itself from the pack...
I have a Wells Lamont insulated and reinforced work glove that seems a lot like this Mountain Hardwear Route Setter Alpine Work Glove. And at a quarter of the price of this MH glove, I can easily afford a spare or two. With that said, here's what is unique about this MH glove. The elastic bands on the wrist are longer and fit tighter, there is an O ring for hanging these gloves to... whatever, and there's a very small reflective strip on the ring finger. There is no snot patch for a runny nose.

I think they are cool but overpriced.
Not sure why these are so expensive, they are nice, warm, and supple but I'm not feeling the price unless you just really know this brand? Lots of other choices at that $90 price point.

Soft, comfortable, and warm.
These are so supple and comfortable, I know they're "work gloves" but don't be surprised if they become my new driving gloves, lol. They're very warm, though I haven't had a chance to test them out in freezing weather yet...frankly, I can hardly wait. Bring on the cold. I don't have large hands, and medium fit me perfectly. Zero complaints. I'll update if they "self destruct" or anything.
