Bright light!
Good bulbs.

No flicker: Looking for a good bulb since long ago
This is the deal, this light bulbs are not particularly cheap, you can get same candelabra type bulbs for a fraction of this price almost everywhere, but this is the issue, you basically paid for what you are getting, let me explain further, there are three major class of home light bulbs on the market today, the first one is the incandescent types, second is fluorescent and the third one is the overperforming led type... well technically there are two types of led bulbs, classic led and this new vintage (this model). Regarding led, this new vintage type is too susceptible to flicking due its design, without going into the details, let's just said that almost any drop of current on your power line will cause flicking on most of vintage types, example, if you turn the microwave, washer machine or a treadmill (my case) you will have a lot of flickering. Unfortunate there is not much you can do on your line to prevent these issues, you can either use regular led bulbs or ignore the flicking with the new vintage types. However this particular model had something that make them better an managing the flickering - they change color when they are dim down- this works for flickering because they need an extra circuit to manage this feature, this naturally add an extra layer of noise reduction on the bulb reducing or removing the flickering completely. You can noticed the extra circuit if you compare this bulbs candelabra style vs almost any other, it is slightly bigger-wider on the bottom, it needs to be like this otherwise they cannot fit circuit on the base, they disguise it cleverly and you can barely see it, but if you see other brand side by side you can see what I'm talking about, In this case, a bigger base it is a winner here. Personally I do not care about changing to a warm color when the lights are being dim down, but the flickering when turning the treadmill it is a must have for me. recommended 100%, My wife love this kind of led vintage types and so far this is the only brand that I review that match my expectation. PS: I'm an electric engineer and I bisected the bulb and I approved the construction. almost any vintage type on my opinion is better than the previous led generation except for the current price, but that will drop eventually as this seems to be the future on illumination (cheaper to manufacture, more efficient, smaller, etc)

Works Fine For Kitchen
I used this to replace faulty Feit Electric candelabra bulbs. So far it works but I had one bulb start to flicker. But it was better than Feit Electric bulbs where each one would fail one by one either in flicker or brightness. I don't use the dimmer feature so these bulbs are on full. They do a kinda cool yellow to soft white transition which I notice but no one else cares about. Otherwise everything is fine.

No Flicker, Beatiful Light
The media could not be loaded. These are fantastic bulbs! Even when dimmed low, they don't flicker at all. Perfectly smooth, yellow light down low, and a good soft white when fully bright. The video I took shows this bulb on the right. The other 3 bulbs are an older Philips model that doesn't have the warm glow effect. It's slow motion to show the flicker on the old bulb, and no flicker on this bulb. And it looks like a traditional bulb.

Dim - not nearly as bright as anticipated!
Very dim lights. Skip for a brighter product if using in any lamp you want actual light to project.

I like the warmth but there is a noticable delay turning on
I like the warmth and quality of light produced by these bulbs, but they take a split second longer to turn on than the led light bulbs they are replacing (which also happen to be Phillips but a different model with whiter light I randomly bought in a grocery store). Would probably buy again but would light faster ("instant") light-on time.

If you want bulbs that mimic incandescent ones, this is for you!
The dim-to-warm aspect of this bulb makes it act like in candescent bulbs. Great for chandeliers, sconces, lamps, etc. the CRI is also very high, which means that it renders color very well (especially when it is on at its full bright). You will simply forget that you have changed to LED! The only drawback is the size of the heat-sink at the base - somewhat larger than the usual LED ones. If you use shades over the bulbs, no problem at all! I only hope that Philips will come out next with a standard base version - and that their engineers will be able to reduce the size of the heat sink. I would say this gets an A-

No flickering problem on Lutron Switches
Bought these for my chandelier, very impressed. The color even warms as the lights get lower, creating a very 'incandescent' effect, and letting you alter the mood in the room quite a bit. Great bulbs.
