Know how to preseason before use

I received the items late and when they were delivered , it was found at the front of my apartment complex and no where near my door. Thank God for honest and caring neighbors! Anyway, after opening the box , I do like that the products have a nice weight to them and seem very sturdy and durable. To of them come with measurements inside which can be very helpful. The only down side for me so far is that they don't come preseasoned, nor did mine come with instructions on how to preseason the pans. I had to look up the way to and have already, sadly ,discolored and stickied up (not a word, but you get me right?) one of the pans trying to follow someone else's instructions. That is pretty disappointing. All in all, if I can get the procedure correctly , it seems these pots will be amazing!

Heavy and durable

The media could not be loaded. I was very impressed with this set and for the price point! You will still need some sort of non stick pan for eggs however.

Unbeatable quality

As far as cleaning, you won’t break a sweat trying to scrub off the leftovers. These are supposed to be non stick, and what they say is true. I followed the directions and these cleaned up perfectly. All the food slides right off, don’t have to do much scrubbing. I’ve also put it in the dish washer multiple times and the quality has not been affected. Definitely dish washer friendly although I prefer to hand wash. I’ve seasoned up every pan before and after use for my old cookware set, I tried everything, and even then...everything sticks. Even fatty sausage. I got so tired of it. What closed the deal on this set, was that it’s not made with toxic materials. I don’t think people pay enough attention to what they’re cooking with, and then consuming. I don’t want any heavy metals in my food. You’d be surprised what some of these products are made with. Thankfully this one is made safely and free of these things. Not that this matters as much as how successful you can be using them to cook, but these pans look good. They are pleasant to the eye. After a while most cookware begins to rust just from regular use, which is why I had to invest in this set. However; I have been using this product for a while now and finally found a set that doesn’t do this. These will last me so long, I’m so excited ! When cooking with this, it did take me a while to get used to. It conducts heat so efficiently so you need to work with a lower flame than most are used to. I use the “hot wok, cold oil” rule of Chinese cooking and haven’t had any stocking issues. Overall....Several pieces, each piece has a glass lid, very functional, beautiful in appearance, cook very well

Sticks horribly

I have had this product for a year. First 6 months was great. However, since then pans started breaking down. Became discolored, sticking worse then cheap pans. Can not cook eggs or anything remotely in these pans as they stick and have to use a metal scrub to clean. I would not rec'd these pans. Especially for the money. Can buy a better set for less money. Ceramic coated lasted me 3 years and was given away and still does not stick. Even with oil or butter it did not help. Stay away.

Good variety of pieces!

I've been cooking at home more and this chef I follow uses a lot of stainless steel pots and pans when he cooks. I usually lean more towards the non stick, but after some researching, have found many benefits of stainless steel cookware and so I set out for one! I usually lean towards more the non stick kind, but after using these, I think I've been converted. I have been using at least one piece of the set every single day ever since I got it!! Very pleased with the quality as it is thick, heavy duty, and very durable. Lookwise and how it feels is very premium. What I liked most and is the main reason why I got this set is because all the pieces and sizes are what I use very often in the kitchen! My favorite is the large sauce pan and the casserole pot. I love that I can cook what I need to and there is NO need to transfer it to a bakeware when I needed to bake it or broil it--these pots and pans can withstand the heat up to 500 degrees and it is so nice to just be able to stick it into the oven as needed. They are easy to clean cooks evenly. I am also going to get my kitchen renovated soon and haven't decided on a stove yet--so it's nice that these will work on electric, gas, AND induction cooktops. I don't have to worry about the compatibility. Very high quality, versatile set for a reasonable price.

Incredible for sautéing and pan-frying!

I bought this set after I got rid of all Teflon pans. I have no patience replacing them every 2 months, they scratch easily and can’t be overheated. So I finally went for stainless steel pans, that are much more durable and healthy to cook with. I love this set and have no regrets! The only thing you should know - you have to get acquainted with it, especially if you’ve never used stainless steel pans before. It’s a little hard to learn the right temperatures and a heating time, especially if you’re cooking on electric stove! But it is manageable, and once you get used to it you’ll never want to go back to Teflon! What I like: - Number of pieces and perfect sizes, that I actually need and use; - Mid-weight. Lightweight Teflon ones are too flimsy and heat too quickly; - Comfortable handles. They’re easy to maneuver and stay cool to the touch; - Distributes heat evenly and is durable; - Responds rapidly to even the slightest change in temperature; - Beautiful, matte exterior; - Price. Good alternative to All-Clad cookware, but not as costly. One more thing - I do not recommend using a dishwasher. It might ruin the finish and stain your pots. I hand wash them and dry with the towel immediately. A little inconvenient but this will prolong their life. I hope this helps!

Not non-stick cookware!

The pans we received must have missed the non-stick coating process as food (eggs, sauces, etc.) stick to the bottom of the pans and are very difficult to clean. Instructions are not to scour this product when cleaning, so soaking in hot water for a period of time is a must to get the cooked-on food off. Don't recommend this product. Will be disposing of this brand new $184 set and buying a REAl non-stick set. Bummed out!
