Better copy of a kohler

I used this faucet to replace a 30 year old kohler. It is great. I installed the bright brass. Very nice unit that has a very solid color matching pop up.

Absolute garbage. Very hard to setup and the water flow is very slow. Would not recommend.

Instructions are terrible. For example, it gave no real idea as to how make sure there was enough vertical space for the faucet handles to sit and turn correctly on the seats, nor the position the turning knobs should be on the mechanism to rotate appropriately in diagrams. This had to be figured out by playing with it and for a first time installer this is unacceptable. The handles squeak when turned. The pop up rod assembly screw was so tight (you're supposed to be able to turn it with your finger), it became totally useless because you can't turn it under a sink with a screwdriver since there is no room. I had to purchase a universal pop up rod which actually had an appropriate flat head turn mechanism in order to install it. The T connection when fully tightened is actually perpendicular to the wall so it goes directly into the sink basin leaving no room for putting on the pipe. I had to put an additional washer in there to make it tighten faster and be more parallel to the wall. Go with a better brand where they at least test these things so that you don't run into issues when you are trying to install in a minimal space area which is already difficult enough.
