Not as described, and in a bad way that makes it look cheap

First of all, this is a four-light chandelier, not a three-light as described. That is not that big a deal as the size is the same, but people should know. The bigger problem is the second outer shade. Unlike the website description: "Double shades made of decorative mesh screens and opal inner glass;" the "mesh screen" is actually a mesh laid onto a PLASTIC screen. What is hard to tell because of the carefully crafted lighting in all the pictures is that when the chandelier is off, the outer plastic shade reflects a lot of light. That means you cannot really see the inner glass shade, and more importantly, the thing looks cheap as ..... for a $400 chandelier. You just get this cheap, dull plastic-ey reflection from other lights in the room, or from windows. If the outer shade was actually just some fabric mesh, as suggested and it looks in the pictures, this would be an amazing light. But that clear plastic outer shade with the thin mesh mounted to it just look so cheap and completely ruins the look. I am returning.

Sophisticated Look is Perfect

This fixture was perfect, and almost perfectly matches two other lights I purchased from Home Depot (Hampton Bay 5-light chandelier and 2-light flush mount, both with "Organza" shades). This 4-light chandelier was to replace a builder-spec dining room light that was annoying and exposed the bulbs. This light has a sophisticated look and gives a perfect amount of light with 100W (equivalent) LED bulbs on a dimmer. I bought this as an open-box special through Amazon Warehouse and got it much cheaper than the full list price (~330), and it was in perfect condition. I should warn that one of the vertical curved faux supports was a little bent (very little) and in trying to bend it back, I broke it off like an idiot. No one would have noticed the slight bend. Fortunately, Gorilla epoxy saved the day.

Love this Pendant!!!

I spent about 6 hours looking online and visiting local stores for pendants. Finally decided on this pendant and its beautiful. Does require 4 bulbs, not 3. Light does shine down on table and casts a very nice glow on the ceiling. This pendant gives a modern flair to my newly renovated traditional kitchen. Looks great with my cream cabinets with cocoa glaze!! You won't be disappointed!!!

This light is classically elegant and provides great light for our room. After installing it in our 20'x15' vaulted room we put four 60 watt bulbs in it. It does a great job lighting the large room and looks beautiful as well.
