Cropped cardigan!
I would say there’s nothing special about this cardi. It is cotton, it is navy... it is definitely a cropped one! I’m 5’7 and the cardi sits just right but it ends at my waist! The sleeves are 3/4 as the picture shows, though. The main issue for me is the buttons that are extremely difficult to button/unbutton! The peas just won’t go out of the button hole. And the cropped design requires it to be buttoned. I wear size 6 in tops and got M for this top. I have some room in the chest, but not too much and I wouldn’t size down.

Looks like a child's sweater at first
This is short in the sleeve, short-waisted and small in the shoulder. For all the world, this size S looks like a size 14 in girls. But, it squeezes on okay on our size 6 gal for 3/4 sleeves and high bodice closure. Works great to pair with the Karl Lagerfeld dress she recently got that has the same butterfly appliques. Nicely made.

Small & Short
This is a very attractive navy cardigan with pearl-like buttons. Parisian girls must be smaller and shorter than we Americans in general. Because this runs small for a medium and it was shorter than I expected. For me, it was almost between a crop top and a waist length cardigan. But I'm large busted, so if you're smaller busted it shouldn't ride up as much one supposes. I have tiny daughters-in-law and one of them said her favorite color is navy. So, I will offer it to her. The pearl buttons are pretty, but take longer to unbutton than standard buttons. But they are worth the trouble. And the fabric at 60% cotton breathes, and is very soft. You just may need to size up, or lose 10 pounds to wear this. It is attractive, and fun to have something created by Karl Lagerfeld who had such style and panache.

Best for Petites
I am 5’3”, 115LBS, 34C. The size Medium fits me very similar to the Amazon model. This is a small & short style cardigan – looks great with a high waist or over a sheath dress. If you are tall, I think this will be too short. I have wide shoulders for my petite frame but this sweater fits me great in the shoulders. It is well made & the pearl buttons are pretty. An extra button is attached to the care label.
