Puppy likes

I was worried he wouldn’t like it because you have to squeeze it pretty hard to make sounds but he likes it just because his little mouth can grab areas of it easier than a regular ball.

My foster dog loves this ball so far. Not sure though how long the plastic inside is going to last as it’s pretty smashed up after a few minutes with him.

Stands up

My dogs got this ball for Christmas and it is still surviving. The interior crackle ball is crunched up and no longer crackles, but nothing is broken and they still play with it. We have two large dogs, so this type of longevity is pretty rare! The dogs recommend it.

Chewey ball

This is the 2nd one of these. Pup really liked the noise and the weave of the ball rubber. He was able to carry easier. The crinkle material goes flat easily and looks disintegrated.

Hard to rate

This ball is hard to rate. I'm not sure if the internal crunchy ball is supposed to collapse or not. I didn't expect it to just deflate and become a smaller and smaller crumpled, yet still crunchy sounding lump. My 9 lbs YorkiePoo likes playing with it sometimes, but looses interest quickly. I'm not sure if it works as intended.

Fun dog toy

Kept my dog busy for quite some time and if I take it away and bring it out another day she treats it like a new toy again… I would say worth the money

Great toy!

My Lucy loves this ball and the noise it makes while she’s chewing it! She is a heavy chewer and has not damaged the ball at all. It’s a tuff one! Would definitely buy again!

Not recommended

Well I should have listened to the remarks, our two year old lab took it in the garden, threw it around a bit, found what a lovely crackle it had, and then lay down and proceeded to try and remove the crackle from behind the casing. Took about five minutes, she had to tear the rubber to get it, so it went in the bin. Waste of money. However, we do have a JW squeaky ball, large enough for her mouth but difficult to chew. It is bouncy, the squeak is buried deep, she adores it and it has lasted longer than anything she has ever had, weeks and weeks and still good as new. It was around £5 and worth it. That was the reason we tried this crackly one, but has not worked so well. Our lab is our third, having had one for 15 years and one for 13 years, they never chewed anything up, and had toys from puppyhood to old age, so I suppose it depends on the dog!!

Great fun although not hugely long lasting

My dogs both absolutely loved these balls mainly because of the crackle balls inside. Unfortunately, they were able to get the crackle out within a day or so but they still love to chase and play with them now they are empty. My dogs are major destroyers who can kill even expensive tournament tennis balls in less than a day (a kong squeaky tennis type ball lasts about 5 minutes if you are lucky). Anyway, I think these are very good. I have now ordered the next size up and hope the crackle will stay in place for longer but I don't bank on it.

This is a great toy

My dogs just love these balls. They can remove the crackle ball within a few hours but they carry on playing with the ball for weeks. They are robust and are not easy for the dogs to chew into bits. When I say they they can week a standard tennis ball within 5 minutes so that it is in small pieces all over the floor, it gives you some idea of how destructive they are. These balls are one of the best toys we have ever bought for them although they are not cheap.

Received this in pink which was is great for my little lovely girl. Others have said that their dogs managed to break these quite easily but our ball is still fine even after a few months of playing with a 9 month old Rottweiler. The crackle is not too loud and is a quieter option than squeaking toys if your dog tends to carry toys around in their mouth.
