Beautiful, but not for my larger chest

I loved how this dress looked on the model. But I have a 34 DD chest and the proportions didn't fit. I ordered a medium. I'm 5'7", 150 lbs. and have a larger chest. I know the dress is intended to be flowy, but I should have ordered a size down. When I put it on, there was no way I could wear the dress braless or without some sort of cami. I tried on various camis and braletts to figure out how to make it work. I had one that would have worked had the rest of the dress fit better. My fear with ordering a size down is that the chest will be too tight. In the end, I looked like a tent rather than the flowy silhouetteI had hoped for. If you are tall and slim figured - especially in the chest, this dress will be beautiful on you.

Back gaps

This dress is decent quality and I love the color, sleeves and buckle detail but the back does not lay flat and gaps open. Let me start by saying I’m 5’6” and 165lbs so I am not skinny. I bought the XL first and swam in it as it was sooo big. Tried the medium and it fit nicely except for the gap in the back. Then bought the Large thinking the waist would hang lower and solve the gap problem but it did the same thing. The only way it would lay on my skin was to really slouch and hunch my back. I don’t know why there is so much extra fabric in the back. It’s a shame because it would be a fabulous summer dress or swim cover up if it were not for this one design flaw.

Cool dress

I took a chance with this despite the poor reviews. Unlike others my dress came in great shape, folded nicely and not very wrinkled. I really liked it, it just wasn’t a great fit for me. If you have a bigger upper body- boobs, arms- it’s not very flattering. The material felt good and on a smaller upper bodied person, it would be very cute. I am not going to get a larger size because it would be huge everywhere else. Unfortunately going to return it :( Size ordered- small

Well made and nice fabric

It's well made with a striped black eyelet cotton. The only downside is it seems to run large, like really large. I got the size large-my bust is 40 inches waist 30, and it fits in the front but there's like a foot or more of extra fabric in the back. I'm puzzled by the fit. It looks loose on the model, but not this loose. However for once the arms are long enough for me, and the length is also good despite being tall. I'd recommend sizing down. I would try to exchange for a smaller size but they are no longer available. I'm a long time skingraft fan and my favorite jacket is one of the early ones with the crazy shapes on the back. I was so excited to see Jonny win.

Perfect for a tropical vacation

I recently bought this for my vacation to St. Marteen and I absolutely adore it. It’s the perfect weight for a long sleeve dress in a tropical place. I’m 5’4 and the length was just right, I wore flats and the dress kissed the floor. I can see myself wearing it even now as it gets colder in NYC but not past October due to the slit and low neckline. The color is slightly mustard then sunny yellow as well.

Too Boxy

The fabric was nice and light, which is what I would expect in this type of dress. The issue I had was it was too large and didn't have any shape to it. It wasn't for me, so I returned it.

Ran large and difficult to style

Not sure if it was because it arrived so wrinkled but even with this being a bit too large in my normal size - I thought i could make it work but it’s got too many what should be functional attributes and with the wrinkles I just felt like there was too much going on for it to look good

I am OBSESSED

You guys.... this dress is EVERYTHING! It's so airy and full.... and it catches the wind when i walk... yasssssss! It feels like a fantasy to be wearing something from this collection... (of course I watched the show!) Now I see whyyyyyyy it was all sold out at first! I'm OBSESSED with the leather closure on the back! It makes it really sexy, right along with the split.... which I have to admit I was concerned with at first because I'm a bit shy with splits because when you're short like me they can tend to show more than you want. Not with this dress! I'm covered, AND get to flash a lil thigh if I want! I just feel so pretty in it.... ???????? YOU NEED THIS DRESS!
