Same as others…”fit” is off

I found that using the strainer part upside down they fit together, but using as shown they do not fit in my Ball wide mouth jars. BUT! We are still able to use the lid without the basket as well. Which is all I really wanted..

Not quite ready for production

The media could not be loaded. As others have mentioned it doesnt fit all wide mouth jars. It fits fine on Ball and Kerr larger jars but the smaller ones are 1-2mm narrower in diameter. The design team at Jarware should have done their homework and taken that into account. Also... - The rubber seal is a complicated design that allows baceria to grow in a small crevice. Its also very difficult to reinstall after cleaning. They should have used a simple flat washer. - There is small rubber dimple that seals the vent hole. Due to its current design it doesnt fit into place properly, leaving the possibility for spilled liquid. It feels like it will fall out at some point rendering the whole thing useless. Other than those 3 design flaws it looks and operates as intended. Even though it was $13, Its the only stainless pop top on the market for Mason jars so I'll be keeping mine. The mouth hole cover snaps into place securely giving a satisfying snap each time you close it. I like that the strainer portion is detachable. I like the idea of a stainless steel one handed lid for mason jars because I already use mason jars for EVERYTHING. But, the creators still have some bugs to work out. Right now the product feels like a prototype.

Can't fit in the Wide mouth Ball bottle

The bottom basket is just 2mm extra wide that it can't fit in the Ball bottle neck. I don't want to crash my Ball bottle and thus I didn't force pushed it down. I tried to put it with my other Ball bottles, still doesn't fit.

Doesn’t actually fit in the jar

This thing is just a hair too wide to fit snugly inside a wide mouth jar, making it completely useless.

Doesn't fit

Doesn't fit any of my wide mouth jars. All of them are newer and I tried multiple jars and the lid is too big to fit.
