Waterproof shell - not for warmth!

Love this shell for exactly what it is intended for. Keeps you dry even in heavy rain but do not count on warmth. On a cool or cold day you must wear layers. I originally ordered a medium but couldn't wear a heavy sweatshirt underneath comfortably. I exchanged for a large which is a tad baggy, but fits all my layers fine. The color is great, doesn't make a loud swishing sound when moving and very comfortable. Two things I would say is negative is that there are no armpit vents to keep you cool on a warm day and the outside pockets are awkward. No inner pockets on this jacket. Marmot is a little higher end, but for this price expected a bit more. Overall happy with it because it was the waterproofing that I needed.

Great all purpose rain jacket

I bought this to replace my old Marmot rain jacket. My last one was finally wearing out after 11 years of heavy wear, so I already knew how durable it is. I ordered a size larger than the size chart to leave room for a bulky fleece underneath. Great jacket and shipped quickly!

Perfect jacket for rain, real rain!

Love this rain jacket, I work outdoors in all weather and this one is light weight, great seams, pockets stay dry, great style, and the hood tightens from back and stays. Good spring/summer/early fall water protector.

slimmer fit, heavier than website says

Marmot have athletic and regular fit. This is listed as regular but would say it's athletic, especially the chest/underarm area. Also note this weighs around 320g, not the 190g listed on the Marmot website.

Ottimo acquisto

Cercavo una giacca leggera che mi permettesse di stare sotto la pioggia durante le passeggiate col cane. Ho provato per la prima volta questa marca americana, sono andata nel loro sito e mi sono vista tutte le specifiche tecniche. Robusta come materiali, provata sotto la pioggia (anche in montagna) torrenziale per quasi 1 ora e ha tenuto alla grande. Esteticamente bella e di taglio elegante sportivo, presa in offerta quindi ottimo prezzo. Usata in estate ma la sto usando tutt'ora in novembre (abito in montagna) con sotto una felpa (sempre nelle giornate di sole). Si suda un po' dentro, forse non è così traspirante, comunque belle tasche comode e grandi, cuciture ben isolate, cappuccio comodissimo ampio e vestibilità normale. Ne ho comperata anche una invernale altro modello ma stessa marca. Consiglio.

Fantastica

La qualità dei prodotti Marmot è, come sempre, indiscutibile. Ho comprato questa giacca per utilizzarla in scooter mi trovo benissimo perché protegge bene dal vento, e col sole non si appiccica alla pelle, come in genere capita con le giacche estive. È impermeabile, e davvero l'acqua scivola via. Il prezzo Amazon imbattibile! Quanto alla taglia, Marmot veste un po' piccola. Normalmente vesto una M, ma ho acquistato la L perché, soprattutto d'estate, non voglio niente di troppo aderente. Rispetto alla M, le maniche restano appena lunghe, ma c'è lo strappo che permette di regolarle sui polsi.

Va avec tout

C’est une veste polyvalente passe partout, je l’ai en m et je porte du 40 en haut et du 38 en bas, c’est assez large pour mettre en dessous une mini doudoune, j’ai fait le test sous le robinet c’est imperméable, la capuche est très enveloppante avec une petite visière, je n’aime pas trop le bruit de plastique qu’elle fait quand on bouge, mais je pense que ça s’atténue avec le temps, elle est très légère c’est bien pour emporter en voyage. Style classe je trouve.
