Warm and windproof; pockets are poorly designed

The Winterlager is reasonably warm and windproof, but the pockets are not designed well at all in my opinion. The pockets' openings are oriented parallel to the bodyline, and are located at the bottom and to the sides of the jacket. Thus, unless your upper arms extend all the way down to your hip, there's no way your arms can bend properly to accommodate this awkward design. It's not at all ergonomic or even comfortable to put your hands in the pockets while wearing the jacket. Looking at the picture of the jacket as worn by the model, the model's hand is sticking half-way out of the pocket, which is what happens if you relax while your hand is in the pocket. Thus, the pockets do not function at keeping your hands warm in any way that is convenient or comfortable. The zipper is also a left-handed zipper (i.e., the slider is on the left side of the zipper), which is great if you're left-handed, I suppose. This is the only jacket in my closet like this. I am convinced that whoever designed this jacket never actually tried it on.

Technischer Winterparka für körperliche Betätigung

Wer glaubt hier einen Parka für gemütliche Stunden am Weihnachtsmarkt zu kaufen der wird relativ schnell eines besseren belehrt. Dieser Parka hat mit gewöhnlichen Winterjacken relativ wenig gemein und wer ihn nur fürs draussen stehen oder Bummeln verwenden möchte, dem wird wohl bei 0 Grad und darunter nicht sehr warm werden. Das Material ist absolut winddicht und wasserabweisend, das Innenfutter temperiert den Körper 1A und ist trotzdem sehr sehr atmungsaktiv. Der Parka ist eher für körperliche Betätigung im Winter ausgelegt (z.B. weite Spaziergänge, leichte Wanderungen etc.) und erfüllt dort seinen Zweck dann prima. Das wird von Jack Wolfskin leider nirgends beschrieben und somit ist der Einsatzzweck für den Käufer nicht ersichtlich. Was die Passform betrifft ist er normal bis grosszügig geschnitten. Ich trage bei T-Shirts L/XL und habe hier die grösse L und bringe locker einen dicken Pullover darunter. Die Verarbeitung ist gut aber nicht überdurchschnittlich und bezugnehmend auf den Preis kann ich in Summe nicht mehr als vier Sterne vergeben.

Der Schweiß wird kaum abgeführt

Positiv: Lange Ärmel und langes Rückenteil und eine angenehm gefütterte Kapuze. Der Reißverschluss liegt unter einer Abdeckung mit Druckknöpfen. Große Taschen für Smartphone und Hundeleine. NEGATIV: Keine Unterarmbelüftung und wie im Bild zu sehen wird der Schweiß kaum abgeführt und staut sich am Rücken.

Fijne jas met een matig functionerende rits.

Fijne - niet te dikke maar wel lekker lange - jas. De rits dicht doen gaat echter moeizaam. Lijkt wat te kort op de stof te zitten en loopt snel vast.
