Very useful tool

Purchased these snips based on trustee brand name and fair price. Used snips to cut some thick plastic cowling. Sharp. Easy to use and maneuver. Feel good in hand. Perfect for me, an occasional DIY user. Highly recommend.

Heavy duty and easy to use

I could not be more satisfied. Great deal. Great product. I by no means can man handle sheets of metal.... but, these sure made having to deal with it so much easier. They are much better quality than my old ones. I'm very glad I waited the extra day to get these.

Extremely Sharp

These are the sharpest tin snips I've ever owned, cuts through metal like butter. I cut my hand with the tip by accident just by nicking myself as I set down the tool.

I used it for electrical works. It is easy for me to cut a bundle (~6) of 1.6 mm copper wire.

IRWIN 2073113 Aviation Snip [Straight]

These Irwin aviation snips are nicely made and have been working well for my needs. I use them for trimming and notching various gauges of flat sheet metal stock, duct and metal hanger strap. They also work well for trimming off recessed light frame rails for rough-ins when they are too long to fit between joists or strapping. Same thing for metal studs and device box rails. The snips are approximately 10-inches long overall will make nice smooth straight cuts for trimming edges and corners of flat stock. I can also smoothly cut back 4-inch metal duct on dryer vent and bath fan vent hoods if I unsnap the seam and lay it out semi-flat while cutting. Overall, these snips are decent and holding up to regular use so, I would buy again when needed.

Not usable for daily use.

I make my living with snips like these, but after I hour of using the Irwin brand I had to stop using them because the handle close to much pinching my hand, the better quality ones don’t do that.
