Perfect wetsuit for anywhere!
I purchased this wetsuit for my 11-year old son a couple weeks ago and he has worn it every day since, and loves it! My son is taller than most boys his age, has no body fat, and has the waist of a 6-year old. So I was really going back and forth on how to choose the right size. I went onto the manufacture's website and sizing chart, and ended up getting the exact right size. Even when I thought it was going to be too small, I trusted their chart and we nailed it. The 2.5 mm thick neoprene has been a great barrier between his thin body and the cold water. I was unsure if he'd still have a range of motion with having the neoprene covering his shoulders and biceps, compared to some suits that have nylon on the shoulders and arms. It hasn't been a problem and keeps him that much warmer. We mainly bought this suit because on the East coast (D.C. Area), most of the neighborhood pools are not heated. There's really no reason for them to be with East Coast summers, but with no natural insulation on my son, he really feels how cold the water is. We also have an unheated pool at our home. Before, he would swim for maybe 20 minute before getting out. With the suit, he'll stay in for hours. Yay!! I honestly don't know why we didn't buy this sooner! Excellent purchase.

GREAT, well-made wetsuit for boys!
I ordered this wetsuit for my 9yr old son who swims weekly at an indoor pool. In the past, he has always worn ONeill wetsuits, but this time I decided to try something new because I was attracted to the styling of this Hyperflex and the price-point was less expensive than O'Neill. We've had this suit for 5 months now and it has held up GREAT! Very similar quality & construction to the O'Neill suits that we've had in the past. Colors have stayed bright and NO fading from the pool. Now...SIZING: Overall, I think the sizing runs on the small side compared to O'Neill (which I feel is sized more "true-to-size") Most wetsuits fit "slim" but I would recommend this suit for the VERY slim. If your child has an "athletic" build, this suit frankly might not fit. We purchased a Hyperflex Junior size 10 to replace an O'Neill Youth 8 and the difference was about one inch of length from shoulder to crotch. It was enough of a difference to make it worth it, but only bc at this price, if he can get a year's worth of wear from this suit, I'll be happy.

Worked like a charm
I ordered two suits. Both were quality but only one fit. Had to send the other one back. Amazon was amazing. They refunded my purchase price Ishtar away. I just rewrapped the unused one in original bag, took it to UPS and off it went...no charge . Couldn’t have been easier. The suit that I did keep and use was great. Kept my little guy warm while was body surfing in our not so warm ocean.

This a great product. My daughter is very cold natured and we thought this would work for her for when we took her to the Y or to the beach. It kept her warm in the neck and chest and up to her knees any thing that was exposed she was still cold. We used it 5 times though we ended up getting her a size 16 even though she is in a size 10/12 so may take that in consideration when buying to buy up a size or two. My daughter is 13 yrs old and is 5 feet tall. and weighs 96 lbs.

Great quality, a little small
We purchased this for my daughter for a boogie boarding excursion to Mexico and it worked fabulously. She is 12 and we worried that the size 16 would be too large, but figured better too large than too small. It was just about right, just a little small in the hips (but that could be how my daughter is shaped). It is heavy duty quality and was perfect for the purpose.

Overall, happy with purchase.
I bought this for my 13 year old son. At his age, I expected it to be a bit difficult to buy a wetsuit and get a perfect fit. This one fits well overall except the arms are not a snug fit. He is very happy with the structure/design.

Run small
This wetsuit was too small for my 10 yr old grandson. I recommend buying 2 sizes large than needed.

Decent wetsuit
Not sure if this is really 2.5mm since it seems thinner than the Stohlquist 2mm wetsuit that my son has outgrown. Fit and finish is not as well made as the Stohlquist but it does the job. Bought a size 10 for my rail-thin 10 year old son and it fits a little big. Still lots of room in the crotch to grow into. Overall, not bad, but not great.
