Perfect!

This was exactly what I was looking for at half the price of the ones the big box stores had. I needed it narrow to fit in the door frame and this is perfect. The only complaint I have is that it came with silver screws which is silly since it’s black, so I had to buy black screws to get the look I wanted. But overall I’m happy with it

was identical shape to the old one. minimum of paint and patching needed. but the older one had much better terminal connections.

Very easy for component to dismantle during installation.

Product was ordered to replace an older doorbell. The new doorbell was mostly impossible to install because the unit would dismantle when handled. The screw contacts were designed for a much light gauge wire.

Easy to install…

Five minute install. Durable and weather resistant. The lighted button feature burns out after a year or so, but the button still works.

Defective design

Bought this to replace a similar doorbell design that broke. Installs easy and even has an illuminated button. I was very pleased with this until about 4 months in. The button got stuck in the pushed in position causing my chime to burn out. If you're not familiar with wired doorbells, they work on low voltage with a transformer similar to landscape lighting. When the button is held in the ring position continuously, the bell will overload. Ironically this too happened with the model I was replacing. I thought it was just old but turns out it really is a design flaw. My advice, if you can just go wireless.

Very good replacement.

We have to replace two very old ones. They look and work very good. Th light is very bright which is very good.
