Great face wash but smells weird

Awful smell

It works pretty well in conjunction with the moisturizer, however the smell is terrible! It reminds me of those bottles of (veggie) supplements you get at a natural health food store. Very off putting and not pleasant at all. If I had to buy this again, I’d rather it be unscented.

Fine face wash, if you like the smell of butt.

I really wanted to like this product. I'm always on the look-out for great face wash. I loved that this one promised safe ingredients. It felt great on my skin, didn't strip the oils, left my skin feeling super soft and wonderful. But I could NOT get over the smell. I tried. I really tried. I wanted to give it at least a month, but I couldn't make it past a week. The smell was just too bad. It seriously smells like poopy butt. I would love this product if I didn't feel like I was rubbing butt scent all over my face.

One of my go to face cleansers.

I’ve purchased this face wash a dozen times. My skin is on the dryer side so I only use in the evening. It never leaves my face feeling tight or dry. I only use a dime size, and get a good lather so the bottle last me a while. I’ve read some reviews about the smell. I don’t smell anything, but if you’re sensitive to smells you probably won’t like it. I can’t comment on if it removes makeup because I typically pre cleanse, but based on the lather I think it would. Anyways, give it a try! I’m glad I did! :)

Good, but I won't buy again

This is a nice, gentle cleanser, but it has a subtle and unpleasant smell.

You can change the scent

Lots of people have commented about the smell of this cleanser. I, too found it to be off-putting. However, I added Plant Therapy organic lavender essential oil, 5 drops & now it smells great! I really like the cleanser, plus lavender is good for skin too. It’s a win!

Don't store in a hot place

I drove from STL to Dallas with this in my suitcase in the summer in my trunk and it completely ruined this face wash. It wasn't even the same consistency anymore as if it had melted or something and after that all it did was dry out my skin. All the bottles I bought from target I had never had a problem with. Could have been a freak thing but I won't be ordering this from amazon again. - the product itself is one of my favorites and I highly recommend if you have dry skin but maybe not from amazon.
