I'm so glad I didn't choose something "trendy"

I have always liked having a spare zip-up around. Just in case, you know? Well, mine ended up in the dryer and you know exactly what that means. I was scrolling through the endless list of sweaters from a gazillion companies. It's always so hard to know what's a scam and what will be a successful buy! So...I went back to good ole dependable Hanes. It's exactly as advertised. No gimmicks, no flashy designs. Here are the pros: 1. The same fit every time. Size as expected. 2. It's warm but you don't feel like your suffocating 3. The color doesn't fade 4. It doesn't leave lint on your freshly washed shirt 5. Inexpensive af Less pro (okay con): 1. This is not the kind of sweater to wear in humid conditions 2. No cool designs 3. If you're tall, it will be short on you Basically, I'm coming back here the next time something happens to my sweater. It's so dependable and I don't like spending my money on flashy "maybes" A+ from me!

Soft and sturdy hoodie

Hanes is an affordable, reliable brand, and this sturdy sweatshirt is no exception. It washes up well, although it does shed fuzz onto whatever you're wearing underneath. It also seems to pill a little on places that rub, like under the arms and around the wrists. The zipper is stout. I would appreciate if the waistband were a little more elastic. I reach for this hoodie frequently. It is soft, comfortable and practical for cool days, alone or over a tee or tank.

Love this Hoodie

This is the perfect weight for a chilly evening or morning in the NW, perfect dark grey color and perfect fit. I purchased a large and I normally wear a large, so this is true to size.

Comfy but color way off

The picture for purple is a much darker, richer ‘gem’ purple than the hoodie is. The hoodie I received is like a dark grayish lavender. The fit and comfort is perfect, so probably will keep, but definitely was looking for something with a richer hue.

Comfortable and soft!

This is the third hoodie of this brand I've bought, and the colors don't fade after many washings. Most of our winters in south Texas are too mild for heavy coats. These are cuddley soft and keep me warm on a chilly day. I hope to get more colors next fall.

Exceeded my expectations!

I bought this sweatshirt in lt. gray and navy. I am 5’4”, 142 lbs and the sz large is perfect for me. Not too short and roomy enough to allow for any possible shrinkage after washing. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Basic jacket

Little thin on the inside but still cozy. I have long arms and it comes close to my wrist. Nice purple color

Surprised that it fit!

I am 4'9 so 95% if things I try don't fit. I expected the arms or torso to be too long but not at all! This fit me perfectly! Literally could not be better if I tried. The fabric is thin and soft, perfect for cool weather but not enough for chilly autumn mornings or nights. That being said, it can easily be work under a jacket without adding too much bulk. Colour is beautiful I am very happy. I would guess that if you are small and slim it will look baggy (which is not bad if that's your style). If you are tall and slim the arms might be too short for you. I am very small but not slim and it fits great.

Perfect Outfit: Hoodie and Hanes Sweat Pants

What a great deal. I ordered the hoodie in Light Grey (Med). It fits really good, soft and what a great buy. I ordered the cinched light grey sweat pants at a different time. To my surprise the both pieces match great. I really do not know where you can purchase a two piece outfit for $40.00. I’m very happy with both. Have done the same with French Fabric with a tie up waist. They match also as outfit. I hope there would be other colors and I would do the same. Great awesome buy and nice looking 2 piece set. I’m 5’3”. The hoodie is great in a size medium.
