Importado. 94% Nylon, 6% Elastano.

Fits tight. Really warm!
I ordered a large, had to return for an X large, which is still tight fitting. Wow is it warm and helps with the wind and protects my ears. I like the beanie and would buy another.

great quality, but sizing runs small
Sizing for XL says 25.5". I doubted that and ordered it anyways, and my head is 23.25", and this hat just barely fits. I like my hats to cover the cold spot in the center of your forehead from the wind, and also to cover your ears. I had the dome from years ago, and it definitely had more room, but it was still too tight. around the head. This model with the windproof goretex is much lighter weight material, which means the seam that runs around your head is not thick and will not cause you a headache; and the redesign of how they sewed the top together, it now fits under my mountain bike helmet without having to get a larger one for the winter; and, I think the goretex has a much better look to it than the old fabric material. That said, it does not measure 25.5", but more about 23.5", and if you pull it down so it covers the coldspot in your forehead, which you know if you mountainbike in the cold, once that part of your head gets cold, you will generally get sick; so I keep it covered up, and switch out hats if the moisture from sweating and wicking starts to make it too cold. So, if you keep that part covered, then like the photos of the models, your ears peak out a bit in the bottom. So, after trying all the new hats from OR and mountain hardwear and north face, I would still have to choose this one. They could add about 1/4" more material to cover the ears, or they could just redesign the back of it to make it like the wind warrior hat from outdoor research, which has a nicer full coverage for the ears, and then it would be just perfect. I haven't put it through the winter test yet, I am expecting it to work as my other mountain hardwear dome hat which is the only hat I have ever needed from freezing to -20 in ohio, in the wind, in the rain, for everything from hiking to mountain biking to climbing.

My husband won't wear any other hat.
My husband loves the comfort and the fact that this hat is wind proof. He won't even consider wearing any other hat. So we bought a couple more to keep in reserve for when he loses or wears out the first one. I think it looks great on him.

thin helmet liner, not warm, not big
This is a helmet liner, NOT a warm hat. I couldn't find that distinction anywhere, so I ordered both the "pro" and the regular version of the Dome Perginon. The pro version is 1/3 the warmth and has a Gore label, the regular one is the old style fabric (which you can not blow any air through) but doesn't have a "windstopper" tag. Returning this one, keeping the far warmer regular version. Neither has any spare room with my 23" head.

Very disappointed
I'm a big fan of Mountain Hardware stuff 99% of the time. In fact, this is the only time I can think of when they fundamentally let me down. I bought these hats to replace some of the same model that I have been wearing in Michigan winters for about 20 years now that are just beginning to show their age (a real tribute to Mountain Hardware quality!). However, the new hats were not nearly as warm, and as a bald guy that really matters a whole lot! Further, my old hats are XLs, so I ordered XLs (the largest size available), but the new ones were definitely too small. So, I'll happily wear my old hats until they finally fall apart.

Best Thing To Happen to Heads
This is the best thing to happen to heads. Ever. Cycling on cold winter mornings/nights is now a completely different experience. Almost no wind gets through. It's a miracle. I've had a few of these over the years (needed multiple because I was losing them), and they've always worked and lasted like a boss.

Looks great, right fit!
Toque looks great and the sizing chart was right on. Fast shipping too. Good seller, would buy again.
