It’s hard to decide about a lamp looking on line but I’m so glad I did. I love it Later went shopping and didn’t see anything for 3 times the price that I liked better

Perfect size and look for my bedroom
Over the style and look was perfect for my bedroom. I wanted something very modern looking that when with the dark espresso colored furniture I had in my bedroom. I also wanted something that was small enough to fit on my night table next to my bed without taking all the space up (since I have my wireless phone charger and my alarm clock on there). It was perfect. The quality of both the base and the lamp shade are very nice. I put a 60 watt LED lightbulb in there and it puts out a great amount of filtered light from the shade. Again, I have no complaints there. I had read that several people had issues where the cord and the switch for the light were on the same side which meant that you would either have to reach behind the lamp to turn it off or have the cord in the front. I did not have that issue with the one I received. My only complaint that I do have with it is that the room between the base and the lamp shade is rather narrow and to be able to turn it on and off you have to reach up into that narrow spot and turn the light switch off. A little bit cumbersome, but it is doable. I guess I could get a smart outlet to be able to turn it on and off from an app on the phone, but it isn't that bed yet. The lamp came undamaged. It was well packaged. It looked exactly like it was on the web page and functioned without any issue. Just make sure that when attaching the lamp shade, you put it on correct (it covers the light bulb completely) if not just turn it up side down from the current way and it will. I got it on sale and I think it is of a quality that is more than what I spent on it. This is why it gets 5 stars.

Design Needs Improvement
Nice lamp, small base, looks nice. However, I do agree with J Krugh. The knob is right under one of the spokes that connects the shade with the lamp holder which makes it difficult to turn the lamp on and off. The few times I use the lamp I can overcome the difficulty.

Well built lamp at an affordable price
I was looking for a comparable, but more affordable alternative to a $250 lamp I had seen. This one absolutely fit that description. It is wel built, elegant and contrary to many other lamps, the packaging of the lamp shade was really carefully done. I was so pleased that I ended up buying four more. Highly, highly recommended.

Small footprint ideal for nightstand.
Loved everything except position of light switch. It is directly below the support for the lamp shade. That makes it a challenge to turn off and on. Packing is solid and construction is very solid.

Bought Two
I bought two of the lamps. They matches my decor and I like the way they were made. I only wish that they were taller than 20 in. I can always get some pedestals to put it on. Good price for the money, because on other sites they were twice as much.

5/10 There are better options!
The gold one at the time of review was $45, with original price at $75. I like the lamp shade very much, it is very sturdy. The electric cord is nice and long. Unfortunately, the base of the lamp is not very stable, and seems to be cheaply made for the price given the retail price is once again $75. Also, the design of the light knob is poorly placed being right under the lamp shade support. I placed it exactly the way the manufacturer placed it as shown in the marketing photos. This placement makes it cumbersome to turn on/off. Also, no bulb was provided which was indicated, so that was fine.

Wrong type of switch for this lamp, chain pull very user friendly
The most frustrating thing about this lamp is the type of switch used, it’s frustrating trying to locate the switch when the lamp is on, not user friendly. Should have a chain pull type as this is not only easier to use but also very user friendly.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, I LIKE THE STYLE, IT WORKS WITH MY LIVING ROOM HOWEVER, I FEEL THE QUALITY IS A LITTLE SUSPECT, FIRST TIME OUT OF THE BOX, WE FOUND THAT THE BALL NUT, THAT TIGHTENS THE SHADE DOWN, IS STRIPPED, WE PUT SOME WASHERS ON AND THAT HAS SEEMED TO HELP, BUT THE NUT LOOSENS OFF VERY EASILY WHEN THE SHADE IS BUMPED, WHICH HAPPENS QUITE A BIT, ESPECIALLY WHEN TURNING THE LAMP ON OR OFF SINCERELY MIKE FLADGATE
