Some faults but able to work through them

The screws in the bracket were too short so I had to use longer screws. The wires were both black so I followed the advice of other reviews. Finally, the down rod would stay screwed in the top portion. I’m hoping some superglue helps with that. With that all being said, it works and looks great.

Pretty hallway light

Really well made fixture and simple to install. I ordered the Shipka design. I really appreciated the reviews that said the white wire was the one with the writing on it, so that made for an easy task. That's the only thing I would say needs improvement - is actually making that wire white. I added Ascher Vintage Edison bulbs to finish out the look.

Great quality for price!

Perfect piece for our hallway leading into our teenagers bedrooms and bath. Quality was even better than I expected.

Great light. Wire side with writing is hot/black

Love the amount of light. My upstairs is now brighter than the downstairs. Did not like that the hot/black cable wasn’t marked. It’s the one with writing on it, per reviews from a few years ago, but it should be marked. My only other issue is that you have to set the direction before you install it. I had it set up one way and I technically unscrewed it slightly to make it an x instead of a +. Other than that, these are great. Used the vintage led Edison bulbs 60 watt warm white. 95+ cri non dimmable e26. We don’t want to dim them, but I love how much light and clarity we get without it being garage lighting.

Easy to install, but wires are different.

I bought these two lights to replace some ugly outdated fans in my family room, and they did not disappoint! They are beautiful and light wait and give off tons of light. This was a pretty easy light to install, the only downside was that there are two black wires as opposed to one white and one black. However reading other reviews the black wire with writing on it is the hot wire and the plain black wire is the neutral one. Other than that wire issue these two lights went up fairly quickly. Highly recommend to anyone who wants an updated modern farmhouse look.

Nice looking but not that sturdy.

I love the way this light looks. It’s not as study as I’d like. Like to twist it all the way tight, it won’t be in the right position of the geometric light design. But for the price it’s good. We use this in the loft between the kid’s bedrooms. It’s very cool looking.

Love this so much !! Major upgrade .

EXCELLENT! great quality, so easy to install -husband had it up in under 30 mins , nice quality , major entryway upgrade! See before/after pics. It puts off a great amount of light and I love the way the shadows look on the ceiling . We got these led bulbs - see pic - and they work great ! You should buy this !! Can’t believe it was less than $100 bucks!

Impressive light fixture

Impressive light fixture! Love the color and the amount of light it gives. Replaced it from old nineties track lighting. Used 3 for continuity in the kitchen. Plan on ordering more for other rooms. Easy to install.

Looks Beautiful, but Installation Process Could be Improved

This light fixture is exactly what it looks like - beautiful. It is easy to install, but there are two important items to note: 1) The mounting bracket (the metal piece that the fixture attaches to) must be flush with the ceiling. If it’s not, the two screws that poke through the base (attached with small black caps) won’t be able to poke through. I ended up using the existing mounting bracket (from the previous/existing fixture) instead. 2) The neutral and hot wire are both black :( The hot wire has writing on it and the neutral wire does not. It’s a shame that the wires couldn’t have been appropriately coloured to make this aspect less prone to error. However, if you keep the above in mind, it’s a straight forward process and it looks beautiful. And the price is very affordable, especially when you consider that shipping is free (with prime), returns are free, and it’s significantly less expensive than an equivalent fixture on Wayfair.

Love this light!

I ended up getting this light used from Amazon for $90, it said it had minor cosmetic damage but I literally could find none. Easy to install and looks beautiful! Very happy.
