No leaking, and your ice cubes will still be frozen tomorrow -- but these are *not* unbreakable
We bought some of these based on a Wirecutter review, and I was really impressed. Cold water with a lot of ice stayed ice-cold all day. The ice was still cold at the end of the day, or in the morning if I filled the bottle with ice water and set it on my bedside table to sip overnight. After graduating from 14-oz and 18-oz bottles, my kid now takes one of these bottles in her school bag every day. If we put in too much ice on a cool day, the ice will stay so cold that it accumulates into a large chunk. It stays that cold! On hot days, we fill these bottles with more ice, and that helps keep everything cold even while this bottle sits in the direct sun at the beach or a park. The lids are dishwasher safe, and the small white gaskets inside the lid and the spout lid are seated pretty well, but we did lose one gasket. You can buy replacement gaskets directly from Takeya (they also run regular deals on these bottles, but in this instance I found them cheaper on Amazon and needed them really quickly). They have two different gasket styles; the better and I think newer ones have a small circular tab (almost a loop) that does double duty in helping you insert/remove the gasket and also seems to keep the gasket seated better. I say that because the one we lost did not have the tab. I check our gaskets regularly and they seem to be quite impervious to mold. I pull them out every 4-6 months to inspect and clean them, and they are always fine with no visible signs of mold. The one con to the bottles is that they get dented when you drop them. If you have a kid who swings their bottle around (and who wouldn't want to do that with the really great loop integrated into the lid of this bottle?), over time the bottom will reshape itself from flat to curved. Eventually my kid dropped the bottle or bashed it into one too many hard surfaces, and one of the dents broke full through. Then the outside of the bottle had a hole in it. The inside was still fine, but after hand washing the bottle, there was water inside the lining, and I don't want to risk that becoming a moldy mess. That's why I needed to replace a bottle. We had our bottle for about a year and a half before the r outside split. That's an expensive habit, so now I am making sure my kid keeps the bumper on the bottom -- and refrains from swinging the bottle around so much. We love our Takeya bottles! I liked their performance so much that I bought two for myself and rotate their use daily. Since we only put water in them, I put the lids in the dishwasher every day or every other day, and leave the bottles to dry in our dish rack nightly. I hand wash them with dish soap and a brush a few times a week. The only spot you have to be careful to catch is under the stainless steel rim below the lid, which is a narrow channel that can harbor some sand or dirt (and other gross stuff). The one on the left in the photo has been used for about 18 months, and the one on the right is brand new. I made large name labels for all of them with permanent vinyl, which you can see in the older bottle has scratched off in some places. I believe I re-applied the label on the left in the last six months, so keep in mind that Cricut "permanent" vinyl is not going to last forever on a curved surface like this that gets used and banged around every day.

Awesome water bottle!
The media could not be loaded. I really love this water bottle! As a college student, I’ve gone through several water bottle to try to find the perfect one. I think I finally found it with this one. I love the spout! It functions like a straw, but I don’t have to worry about actually cleaning a straw! Plus, it’s super durable! The bumper has definitely saved it from getting dented multiple times. Plus, it’s perfect for covering with stickers! Overall, it’s a great buy! 100% recommend for college students.

The best for maintaining hot or cold
I purchased one of these for a gift and the person who received loved it so much that I purchased one for myself. Everything she said about the product is true, excellent quality, maintains temperature longer than any I have ever had. Love it!

Best Water Bottle I’ve had
I love that my fingers don’t touch the close spout like the swell bottle click close lids. It seals well if you tighten it enough, but sometimes I don’t tighten it enough. But I’ve never had a major spill on my bedside table, it travels well, and it keeps cold all day. I’ve tried ALL the bottles and this is the best. As I replace out my old ones, this will replace all of them. Oh! And the rubber bottom is perfect to help it not slip or if it drops, it keeps it from being unstable like the dents in the swell bottle. Just perfect. Can’t recommend enough.

Amazing for kids & Adults
This water bottle is my very favorite one I have ever had. My ten year olds love it also. We got the 24 oz. one for me and our kids and it's not too big for them. Things I love about it: - It doesn't leak - the handle makes it so easy to carry and doesn't hit your face when you take a sip. - you can take the lid off easily to add ice - the part you drink from is the perfect size - I love the bottom piece that keeps your Bottle from slipping - it keeps the water VERY cold. - other water bottles got moldy easily but this one doesn't. The part where you drink from is some kind of hard plastic material that stays so clean. Every few weeks I clean the water bottles and my girls have had one spot on the plastic before. It was a little hard to take the one piece off but I used a toothpick snd pulled it up to clean it. That hasn't happened to mine once. They're really great and worth the money.

These are awesome bottle, especially if you get the one with the insulated lid and the bumper on the bottom. The bumper gives it a nice "soft" set down feature that is nice when bringing the bottle into meetings or anywhere you don't want to make a big "clang" when you set it down. The insulation works really well, and the capacity is great. The 24 oz fits in my f-150's cup holder, snuggly with the bumper, easily without the bumper. My ONLY complaint is the size of the spout on this thing. It's only like a 1/2 inch or something. It's totally too small to drink from comfortably. You want to take a sip and you get that "chug chug chug" sound as air tries to squeeze by the water while it's pouring out. Without a vent, it won't pour smoothly. With a larger spout, you can pour slightly slower and air can still flow by the water, allowing a smooth pour, but this spout is so small and long that it seems impossible to get a smooth pour. This is annoying to me because it causes the water to come out slower (part of the time water is coming out, part of the time air is going in...both can't happen at the same time with this design). I literally CAN'T chug a glass of water after my workout if it's coming from this bottle, unless I remove the entire lid (which I sometimes do, now). If they make the spout in the lid larger in diameter, this will literally be the perfect bottle. I still recommend it, but think that is important to know.

Perfectly leak proof and retains the desired temperature for hours.
I love this brand and will be very loyal to it as it's genuinely leak proof. It also keeps cold liquid cold, and hot liquid hot for hours. I have this one for water when hiking. I have a smaller one for hot drinks for hiking/ work. Both I put on their side in bags or flat in the car well, and they've never leaked. I've also dropped them several times from waist height onto tarmac, without hardly a mark sustained.

Best. Water. Bottle. Ever.
This is the best water bottle ever! I bought the 24oz one. Good size, fits in cup holders. I use it all the time, it's always with me, as I drink a lot of water. I've tried many other water bottles but this one is truly tops! I only use it for water and it keeps it cold. The real bonus though comes in all the little details - non-slip grip on the lid to open it easier, easy to drink from spout which you can open with one hand, removable silicone bumper on the bottom, and BPA-free, quality materials make it sturdy as well. Bottle and lid, including the handle, are all tough. I've been using the bottle for a week now and it doesn't sweat at all. I haven't noticed one single tiny leak!!! This product is exactly as advertised. It's worth every penny! Do yourself a favour and buy this bottle - you will not regret it! Buy it now! Edit: it has been 3 months now and with daily usage, this bottle is still as good as new!

Great bottle, but it slowly leaks out of the top even when properly closed.
Disappointed and it only began a few months after purchase so I don't think it's eligible for a refund. The search for a proper water bottle continues.

Well made & reliable drink bottle!
Great colour and love having the handle on it. Rubber base stops from sliding and also protects the base (my old drink bottle got quite dented and scratched).
