Induction Stovetop

Even though the description states that the pans are induction compatible, they definitely do not work adequately. The pans do not heat up very quickly at all. I am very dissapointed.

Nice set

So far these are holding up nicely. I like the look of them, they work well with my older calphalon set. I wish the handles had the mat finish, but oh well. Easy to clean. They heat evenly. Overall would recommend. I expect to enjoy them for many years.

Worth it

A caveat: Non-stick pans are not heirlooms, they can only be expected to last a few years. All non-stick coatings, EVERY SINGLE ONE, wears out. Because of this, the value proposition of a non-stick pan is limited. With this understanding, here's my review: The pans are a good value. They are heavier and thicker than I expected. The quality is excellent. The finish is quite attractive. The non-stick (out of the box) is great. The heat distribution of the pan is very good with no hotspots. Coming in at about $20 to $40 a pan (8,10,12 inch), they are only a few bucks more expensive than much lesser pans. The price is also low enough that when the non-stick surface eventually wears out I won't feel terribly bad in replacing them. If you like to cook and notice the difference good cookware makes, these are the non-stick skillets you want.

Durable & Easy to Clean!

I love these skillets...sturdy and great addition to my kitchen cookware. Food does not stick at all and it’s a joy to cook in. I would highly recommend.

It's Viking - always great

Viking cookware is hands down the best. I am replacing all cookware with Viking products. The 5 ply stainless is my favorite, but everyone needs basic non stick pans. These are high quality. Much heavier than most. Will last a long time. Great value. If you get anything Viking for this price, grab it. Don't expect 5 ply quality, but do expect these will be far superior to anything you're going to get locally. As an FYI - if you buy 5 ply stainless it cleans up easier than any other pan tou will have ever owned. Though not nonstick, they don't get things stuck on that can't be very easily cleaned off with a quick soak. They are amazing!!!

Soild preformer

At first I was regretful for purchasing this frying pan, it wasn't the "I don't need oil or butter it's non-stick" well things stuck to the pan and I got more and more irritated so I asked some friends what I was doing wrong and they all said your heats too high and wait about a few weeks to break it in, Now the more I use it the better I like it. I would give it 5 stars but I haven't used it long enough It also takes abuse really well.

Durable and easy to clean

We’ve been using this frying pan set for a little over a year and they have been a delight. They disperse the heat evenly, the handle is comfortable, and just as important they wash up in a jiff.

I can't imagine a better frying pan.

I got the 10" and 12" in a package. For some reason it was cheaper to get both than it was to buy just one. I guess just one of the weird quirks of Amazon. I've only had them for two weeks but they are fantastic. I can't imagine a better frying pan. Wonderful.
