Good quality product but wrong size

They picked the wrong size out of stock. Amazon took care of the return in their normal stellar fashion. I just wanted to say that the quality of the product is great. I've seen some reviews that these fittings don't always match up to US specs in terms of the way the threads are cut and the quality of the finish but these are high quality fittings. The vendor just needs to pay better attention to pulling the right parts from stock.

Properly tapered for gas applications

In my county, code requires that there must be a sediment trap be installed before each gas outlet. I purchased these Everflow MBTE0012 Tees to create a sediment trap for each outlet. I found that they are properly threaded and tapered for black pipe and seal well. I used four of them in my propane piping system and not a single Tee had any pin holes or micro-fractures (usually occurs in the casting process) or issues with leaking at the threads. I've got my propane black pipe distribution system installed, it is holding pressure and has passed rough inspection.

If you're reading this then my experiment has failed and my timeline has collapsed. I cannot blame the Supply Giant CNUF0056 High Pressure Malleable Tee Fitting for this calamaity, only my own arrogance. There was also an oily residue I had to clean off, so only four stars.

Sizing

Be careful when ordering these ones as they are the same tread as the ones in sets for furniture but are much larger. I should of looked closer
