Great machine! Just beyond small

This toaster works REALLY WELL!! if your not careful it will burn ur stuff lol. So the power aspect of it is great but the size is not mini it’s MICRO lol LITERALLY a half a bagel barely fits in it lmfao but besides that cool little machine for little space living. Or for a gamer who needs to warm up some pizza rolls it’s PERFECT! Lol

Cute and tiny

I travel in a small RV, so counter space is at a premium. This little toaster oven takes up about an eight inch square--it couldn't get any smaller than that and still be useful. It can handle one slice of bread, or one "personal" sized pizza--Walmart or Red Baron brands, for example--and does a pretty good job. I've noticed that food cooks a bit faster toward the rear of the oven, but overall I can't complain. One thing to watch out for is that timer settings are critical, especially when toasting bread. The mechanical timer goes from zero to fifteen minutes, and the light and dark toast settings are very close together at one end of that range (one to two minutes). Thus the difference between lightly toasted and scorched is small. Until you get the hang of it, it's easy to overcook toast. Frozen pizzas are easier; I find that eight to nine minutes usually work best. I cook them on the wire rack, not on the included tray. All in all I'm very happy with what this little guy can do, and the price is certainly reasonable.

Does A Good Job!

I was looking for a small toaster oven that could be used with my solar battery, and had my eye on this one for quite some time. I knew when I ordered it that it was not the end-all-to-end-all of toaster ovens, but it does do a surprisingly good job for its size. We have been using it every day since we received it and are very happy with it. My DH loves hot dogs and has been cooking them in this. The microwave causes the hotdogs to explode, but this little oven cooks them perfectly. Of course, it toasts bread beautifully -- even large slices of homemade bread, toaster pastries, anything that is fairly flat. This cute little guy gets up to 400 degrees, and only 400 degrees -- nothing more and nothing less. It is important to keep food at a distance from the upper burner to keep the food from burning. I have several Dash appliances and this little toaster oven is like them in that it cooks better with thawed food as opposed to frozen. There are all kinds of ideas on how to use (and not use) this very cute little oven. I can recommend Counter Cooking on YouTube. Who does "cute" appliances better than Dash? Also, not only are they cute, but they work! My next experiment for this toaster oven is thawed, flat chicken patties. One more recommendation would be to cover the enclosed baking pan with foil.

Color is soft, and unit is small enough to live on the countertop full time. Burns toast fairly easily, so it’s not suitable for “turn it on and do something else for a few minutes” situations.

I saw this and had to try it

For the price I couldn't resist trying it. I live alone so I have made so many things in it for myself and avoided turning on the oven. It cooks really fast. For instances I made frozen shrimp in it. I fit six in there and it cooked in like 5 minutes without waiting for the oven to heat up. Put 6 more in and by the time I ate the first 6 the next 6 were done. You could make do many things in it and save so much time of course depending on what you are making. It comes with a book with ideas of what to make but I already plenty of my own ideas. Like French toast sticks as well. I could go on and on but I think you get my meaning. Has already paid for itself 10x over.

The perfect little grilled cheese maker

I really enjoy this mini toaster oven. It doesn't take up too much room on a counter. I have only tried making grilled cheese with it, since the tray inside is about the size of a slice of bread. The one con about this toaster oven is that you cannot adjust the dial for your heat adjustment ( you can only turn it up and not down if you're cooking) and there is and there is no on or off switch. Once my food is done cooking I've just unplugged it from the wall instead of waiting for the toaster oven to stop ticking. This is a great product, it cooks quick but I do wish I could adjust the heat or turn it on/off. The pros outweigh the cons for me. I would buy it again.

Burned out

Small, cute and looks nicer. Function is not so impressed. Size is too small, that makes bread always burned out. I wonder how this toaster passed to become a product.

Perfect for me

For something that looks like a toy, this little guy rocks and the red fits in with my Fiestaware kitchen perfectly. I am enjoying the extra counter space too! It is super fast and toasts evenly on both sides. It took me longer to toast 2 slices of bread in my regular size toaster oven than doing them one at a time in this little guy. Very happy with the purchase and I smile every time I look at it.

can do more than just toast

This is soooooo cute ! Okay now about functionality Manage expectations - it’s tiny and simple but for what it is it’s excellent - Yes it toasts and you can toast both sides of a piece of bread at once just take out the tray and put the bread on the rack. There is an element on the top and one on the bottom so both sides toast. I just did it at the 2 setting and the middle wasn’t as brown. I think it would be fine if done on a 3 setting. The bread gave off moisture and the viewing window fogged up and there was droplets running down but it didn’t adversely affect anything Then I spread slices of cherry tomatoes on top, sprinkled grated cheddar cheese on it and a few splashes of worcestershire sauce and put it back in.think on setting 5 sorry cant remember. The brown in the pic isn’t burnt cheese it’s the worcestershire sauce - I also baked an egg and it was perfect. I melted a smidge of butter in the silicone dish and spread it around. Put in a medium egg straight from the fridge. Added salt and pepper ( pepper looks awful in the pic) and baked it on the 5 setting. Whites was cooked and yolk was runny and nothing burnt. The egg white was a good texture and not dry or rubbery Other ideas. - roast a head of garlic - roast cherry tomato halves - an english muffin cut in half will fit ( both sides at once The sides got warm but the top was too hot to touch comfortably after the 5 setting was used so do be careful

Perfect for Single Person

What a wonderful little toaster oven. I don't have the space to fit a regular toaster oven but this mini takes up so little room and works perfectly, one slice at a time. The "single temperature" is really not that hard to adapt to. It is easily workable using the timer. Initially I was worried about the unit being too hot but it has not been an issue at all. I am able to retrieve my toasts easily and have not once burn myself. Very useful little gadget and it is pretty too.

Very small.

Yellow-I bought this to cook small frozen pizza on my counter top. But this oven is a way to small for that. Works good on toast but can only do one at a time. The sides gets very hot and no room to pull out rack to remove toast. I have a rack pull tool to do that as a pot holder is too big to use. I would rather have a pizza maker. And if I wanted toast I would of rather use a toaster.

Really handy appliance for small apartments as it barely takes up any countertop space. You will like this if you don't mind toasting one slice at a time. It toasts better than any of the brand name toasters and ovens that i used to own. You may not like that it cooks at only one temperature (400 degrees) but for me this was not a deal-breaker.
