Sturdy frames/pleats. Stores dust etc well. Subscription reminds me time to change filters!

I have used this brand and style of filters for quite some time in a previous home. I am glad to find them for quality, price and subscription on Amazon (I can remember to change the filters when they show up!). The frames are sturdy as are the pleats in the filter. My A/C has a strong pull in the return air vents (2 in the ceiling of the hall in my home). The previous owner's filters practically got sucked into the return air and the pleats were weak so they became deformed easily. The frames in these filters not only hold firm against the draw of the return air, but help me get them into the vent frame without wobbling on the way up and into the vent frame. The fit is firm and snug as well within the vent frames. I have to use the 6' ladder and reach above my head -- so the strength of the frame is extra necessary for me to install them. I've been peeking at them through the vents with a flashlight and can tell they are handling the lint and so forth much better than the previous filters. I have 2 dogs who come and go often inside and out. One sheds if she blinks. It's important to me that their dander, dust and so forth are caught by the filters and not go into the A/C unit. This is one reason I've used them for a number of years, it's just the first time I've had to install filters into the ceiling for an A/C.

Fits tight

I took measurements from my last filter I had (different brand) and matched it up to this one. I have a in the ceiling filtration system so my filter goes into a vent in the ceiling. I went to put this in and it is a VERY VERY tight fit, not at all like my previous filters. I was a bit displeased I had to scrunch it in, but it worked. I haven't noticed any big changes in the air compared to my previous filters as of yet. Will update after pulling the filter out.

High Quality filters at great price

Great filters at cheap price. As these provide higher rate of filtration really important to change these out regularly to not tax your HVAC.

True size, efficient

The most important factor they are true size to the standard size and efficient. I'm glad that Amazon sent the package ealier than expected time so thatI had the chance to replace the old one which was low quality and smaller than the true size I ordered online from filter store. I can set the temperature lower even in a hot day with these filters and my Ac system works efficiently.

Doesn’t fit well into 14x25 furnace, it was made to nominal size not actual size

I lived in a condo, this filter doesn’t really fit into the holder! While the nominal size is 14x25, the actual size is actually less due to rounding... unfortunately, 3M made it exactly for the nominal size and i had to squeeze them to fit into the furnace.
