Screen tool

This is one of them cheap made tools but it does the job well and does what it's supposed to do.

Looked weak, but worked well

The item was plastic, looked very weakly built. However, used it, worked without issue. Since it is plastic, it will not damage the screen. Worked as expected,. great value.

Great for broken screen DIY fixes

I purchased this tool to fix a broken screen on a patio door. It worked well. You do have to apply some hard pressure and go over spots a few times, but it made the job a lot easier than pressing the spline in by hand or using a screwdriver. There are tools like this that have a metal wheel. I do not recommend those because if it is too sharp, it may cut the screen. I did not have any issues with these plastic wheels cutting into the screen material.

You get what you pay for.

If you just need to replace one or two screens, this is the tool to buy. For a whole house full, look for something a little more sturdy.

Absolulte necessity for putting in a screen

You need one. It's only a few $. Simple to use.

works awesome

used this to install no see um mesh in my truck shell windows. I would have spent a lot more time and done a sub par job without this tool. It allowed me to get the straight edges done instantly and stretch the screen materiel with my free hand so that it was taught. Looks like a professional job. Thanks. Not sure what all the reviews are about it being flimsy. Worked great for me.

Installing screens

I like that it has two side one thin wheel to push the rope in and the other side pushes the whole rope down that fits in the groove to make it quicker

Easy to use.

Pretty simple concept. Not that expensive so worth the money. Was able to fix my screen door without taking it off. Took me about 5 minutes.
