These are more like rigid hard plastic

than soft, flexible rubber. Ended up buying larger square rubber ones instead of these.

Just what I needed

I liked that these plastic carpet protectors were small, which is what I wanted. I am using them on my coffee table with narrow legs.

Works as intended

The plastic is sturdy, will not bend or deform under shear weight of the coffee table, bigger surface area and spines help to reduce sinking effect into the carpet. Overall it works as intended. There’s no adhesive between the interface of the table legs and the piece, so it will fall off when you life the table. The spines makes it only suitable for carpet application.

Protect the rug ok, but…

These are plenty sturdy and are effective at keeping a chair from dimpling the rug, but the hard, slick plastic gives no grip for wood or metal tipped chair legs. Chairs slide around and often slip right out of the caster. They would work better with a rough surface inside, or maybe a hard rubber insert.

Keeps dents out of carpets

These work very well. We had new carpet installed a couple years ago and didn’t want the bed to dent it so I bought these based on the recommendation from the carpet installer. I’ve now purchased more for other rooms because as free moving the bed and vacuuming you can’t even tell where the legs were on the carpet.

This actually works

They work. Had them down for a few weeks, decided to rearrange my furniture. Ten minutes later the indentations were gone.

Protect carpet

These seem to work, protect my carpet from indentation. Not easy to find elsewhere. Also raises the desk height to be able to fit my desk chair all the way under it.

Item as described and dimensions correct

I was looking for carpet protectors under a heavy glass/brass coffee table to save my rug. The spikes help to distribute weight out from small feet of table and keep from wearing out your rug under the table feet. I also wanted the clear, and as small as was feasible so the protectors showed as little as possible. I believe all goals were met. Because they are plastic they might get brittle and break over time, and might need to be replaced. They might hold up just fine. Make sure the feet on your object can fit into inner portion of cup.
